Tribe — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

I had the opportunity to try out their new launches at their Salt Lake branch. Their bright quirky can mesmerise anybody. They also provide calm and peaceful environment to take your official calls and meetings. From their newest menu we tasted quite few drinks and dishes. Both their coffees and mocktails were divine and refreshing. We had their Orange Mojito, Cranberry Coldbrew Soda, Salted Caramel Latte & Caramel Mocha. The barista did a great job at balancing the sweetness. Neither of the drinks were overly sweet. We were able to taste coffee with cranberry and mocha too. Now comes their main show stopper i.e. their delicious dishes. For starters we ate Fish Fry with Chips (Bhetki), Cheesy Chicken Spinach Poppers, Balsamic Chicken with Corns & Tangy Chilli Pork. All of them left us wanting for more. The fish was fresh & the pork was very tender. It’s quite rare find in a cafe honestly now a days.

For the mains we were told to try their Chilli Rubbed Grilled Chicken Salsa, Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice and last but not the least some good old Marinated Fish with Herb & Butter (Bhetki). All their suggestions were spot on.

Also I feel the servers play a huge part in keeping the spark of any cafés/ restaurants alive & in Tribe you will feel it’s true. They whole heartedly helped make our best choices regarding the food, and that made our food meet even more special.

Planned to visit here in a little hurry. Very easy to locate place at pnb island.

The cafe is beautifully themed. Decorated by beautiful paintings, classic movie posters, books, video games and all. Such a photogenic place!

We tried -

Chili lime pork - a tangy sweet pork prepration. Liked it. But as it has been named, that "lime' flavour should be on the top note but it isn't. And the quantity seemed a little less comparing to the price.

Mint shake - The greatest choice by us, really! It was both refreshing and delicious. You can feel both chocolaty and minty flavour at the same time. Highly recommended. We finished this off through the end with main courses.

Tribe special Pork chops Platter - being a big admirer of both pork and steaks , we had to order this. Big pork chop served with veggies, mashed potatoes and sausages. Although the pork had a smell, seemed like the spices didn't make their way inside properly. Although it was delicious.

Chicken cacciatore - served with butter garlic rice. A decent dish. The chicken was so good and had a tangy tomato flavour. Felt so good on my taste bud.

Although we went on saraswati puja yet there wasn't that much crowd at first. Their waiting area is so beautifully decorated. And yes, the prices are a little higher than the menu on Zomato. So don't forget to check it up if you want. Their playlist is good too! (Yes they were playing...

I have visited Saltlake outlet and enjoyed their Goan food. This outlet is just mesmerizing. In entrance you get a cosy beautiful corner to spend some good time , and then a shelf of book which definitely attract book lovers. Ambiance is perfectly made with some arts , picture and colors

In starter Goan pan roll (chicken) Chicken Xacuti or / Pork Xacuti or In main course Alle Belle ( Goan pancake) in dessert

Goan pan roll is basically a roll stuffed with chicken chunks and coconut. And has a Crispy outer portion Chicken Xacuti or is basically a chicken item served with rice . Chicken is a creamy based , and has a great flavor. Pork Vindaloo or is showstopper. Pork is perfectly cooked , and has a great curry also served with rice with fried onion topping Alle belle is a Goan pancake. Stuffing with coconut and Jaggery and has boat shape.

Also you get super mocktails. And other appetizer like sandwich , spaghetti, lasagna etc . Which are totally awesome in taste .
