Always wanted to visit Aasman , and recently got a chance to visit it with a bunch of friends. Interiors are eye-soothing and stellar . You will get all the good vibes comforting you while your visit. So jumping on the delectables , we ordered Chicken Mince Lasagna , Kasturi Murg , Kung Pao Chicken , Chicken Rara , Butter Naan , Chicken Jalfreji , Shanghai Noodles , Veg American Chopsy , Asmaan Spl. Strawberry Mojito , Sizzling Brownies and Crepes Dency. I'll concise my reviews by mentioning pros and cons (a/c to me) . Pros - --- Since we went there in a large group , so some people were late-lateef (as in every group there are some) . That's why we ordered almost after 90-100 mins , but the waiters didn't show a sign impatience and hurrying which was a great plus point. --- The thing I really liked the most was that they serve everything they mention in their menu which was really cool . Now I can die in peace. 😆 --- Another thing I liked about them that they served every dishes at a time which was really helpful. --- Every staffs and servers were well-behaved and they listened to us very patiently and they really know what they were serving. --- I always wanted try to Lasagna but couldn't find this all over Patna and finally found it here. And my experience was really awesome , just loved the dish. --- Other dishes were great too. Just loved their tastes and their presentation was top notch. Every chicken dishes were fantastically cooked with great spices. Just loved their food. . Cons - --- सरल शब्दों में, Crepes Dency वाहियात था। Don't even think to try it. --- Firstly we ordered two sizzling brownies and both were really great , so we thought to order it again. But the last one was really awful . The brownie was burnt and over-sizzled. So , our experience was really great....
Read moreMy recommendation for any occasion, specially if you want to impress someone with your choice of food and taste. One of my favorite restaurants in Patna. The food tastes great, the ambience is always nice for a Lunch or Dinner with Family or Friends. For me the two dishes that stand out and a must order are "Sea Food Chowder" which is a soup with Prawns as its main ingredient and "Guava Mary" which is a guava flavoured mocktail with salt n lemon on the rim of the glass. They are poles apart but stilly favorite. Tried the Ratatouille (The dish made famous across the world perhaps by the movie of the same name) this time and can say that although vegetarian, it delighted me with the medley of taste it carried in my mouth. The sizzlers are also worth trying and so are the various other dishes under Continental or Italian or any other heading in the menu. What I would love to see is some way to make it more friendly to a person who wants to eat here single, enjoy the alone time but the portions are designed for a minimum of two.
Update: for any restaurant, service quality is half its worth. And I always say, if you want to really judge a place, check it out at their worst, ie for restaurants, visit them at the end of their shift. This is my favorite place in Patna but it was very disappointing to find out that the whole place fizzles out at the end of the day in service as well as food quality. The sea food chowder, my favorite soup from here was watery, the guava Mary too. The service was half hearted. And I heard the same complaints from the tables near by. It was very disheartening to find this out. Taking a Star off just because of...
Read moreWent here for eating out with my friends. First of all, the ambience is just better than average if you are used to going to expensive restaurants, not extraordinary or anything. Sometimes the restaurant is crowded, and during those moments it can feel a bit too stuffy. So my advice would be to come here on date/time when crowds aren't expected (like on weekdays evenings).
Coming to the food, Aasman literally ranks among the best restaurants in Patna. We ordered the following : Schezwan Chicken : it was quite tasty with enough quantity. Better than what I have been served in some of the cafes in Patna for sure. Caeser Salad (non-veg) : I had never tried salad in a restaurant before, and my friend ordered this. It was simply amazing, loaded with vegetables and good quantity of chicken. Lasagna : I have forgotten which exact variety we ordered, but this was also good. Not as good as the first two imo, but my friends liked it more than me. Pina colada : this was also quite good, possibly the best in Patna I have ever tasted. Egg biryani : kinda an odd choice sure, but we just wanted to try it and see the taste. And it was quite well done, with just the perfect amount of spiciness and herbs. They even added some extra eggs on special request. Desserts : I have forgotten which one we ordered ( :P ) but it basically consisted of a brownie and three ice cream scoops. Was quite good.
The total cost was somewhere between 2.6 to 2.9k Rs for all this.
All in all, Aasman is one of the must visit places in Patna, especially if you are a foodie and can afford to...
