Basant Vihar in Patna is a fantastic dining destination that beautifully combines authentic flavors, warm ambiance, and exceptional service. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a welcoming vibe and the tantalizing aroma of traditional Indian dishes that promises an unforgettable culinary experience.
The restaurant’s interiors are tastefully decorated, with a cozy yet elegant setting that suits both family gatherings and intimate dinners. The staff is courteous and attentive, making sure that every need is met with a smile. The hygiene and cleanliness standards are commendable, which adds to the overall pleasant experience.
The menu is extensive, covering a wide variety of North and South Indian dishes, but their specialties are definitely worth exploring. I highly recommend the dosa and thali options for a rich and satisfying meal. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients, and the flavors are well-balanced, giving an authentic taste of Indian cuisine.
One of the standout aspects of Basant Vihar is the promptness of service without compromising on food quality. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, they deliver a consistent experience every time. The prices are reasonable too, offering great value for money.
Overall, Basant Vihar is a must-visit for anyone in Patna looking for a delightful dining experience with authentic flavors and top-notch service. It’s one of those places that leaves a lasting impression, and I would...
Read moreNow, this restaurant lacks even the basic qualities, especially in South Indian food category. Their dosas are nothing but tasteless watery mashed potatoes, not even fried or roasted. Their sambhar is like visible masoor dal cooked just with tomatoes, lauki and imli and their chutney is the worst of all which is never fresh( they keep it in fridge) and is made up of some flour instead of Coconut or groundnut. I have been it's customer for many years. But for the past about a year, they are getting from worse to worst and they keep increasing the price for serving bad tasteless food. They are looting our hard earned money for cheap food and cheap service. I will never go to this place again. Ab Basant Vihar k din lad gaye . Maha Ghatiya dosa restaurant. Inko galatfahmi ho gaya hai k public bewakoof hai aur kuch nahi bolegi. I don't pay them at all if I am not satisfied with their quality. Everyone should do the same. Agar ye accha nahi khila sakte toh hum accha...
Read moreBasant Vihar is a family restaurant where we are going since my childhood. It's a place where you can dine in with all your family members irrespective of their age group and all of them will feel comfortable. The only constraint/inconvenience I feel here is restaurant being divided in two floors with no internal connectivity and if you visit with you family, your parents want to have Dosa and your kids prefer Chinese and you will have a tough time in getting order placed and serve at the same table. Though Basant Vihar is popular for its south Indian dishes, however other cuisines are also worth trying and it will not disappoint you.
Restaurant is always full in peak hours (benefit of being located in a shopping complex) and you have to wait in a queue which may get clear in30-45 minutes. Food quality, overall hygiene, restaurant ambience and food taste is slight above average, however, still it is a better place to dine with family specially after...
