An unforgettable experience! While the ambiance is fairly average and simple, the food more than makes up for it, and the friendly staff ensures you have a pleasant experience.
I ordered the Chicken 65 and Murgh Dum Biryani, along with their complimentary delicious raita, and I must say, the meal was exceptional.
The Chicken 65 was cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with the perfect blend of spices. It made for a delightful appetizer and set the stage for what was to come.
The star of the meal was undoubtedly the Murgh Dum Biryani. The biryani came in a beautifully sealed handi, preserving the aroma and flavor of the dish. The long-grained basmati rice was flavorful and aromatic, while the chicken was tender and infused with rich, authentic spices. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and the portion size was generous enough to satisfy.
The complimentary raita was the perfect accompaniment – creamy, refreshing, and just the right balance to the rich biryani. To top it all off, they served papad on the side, which added a nice crunch to the overall meal.
Overall, Biryani by Kilo in Patliputra is a must-visit for biryani lovers in Patna. The food is authentic, flavorful, and the service is excellent. I can’t wait to go back and try more...
Read moreI am giving 1 star only for decent taste. It's little better than most of the biryanis available in Patna(The Downtown cafe and Biryani Mahal(Kotwali) are better options than this one). And that's why they have overshooted the price like anything. When I saw the starter coming, I first thought it was side condiments, such as pickle or vinegar onion. The portion of starter was so small that only 1 could have eaten and we had to divide it into 4. We couldn't order another because the wait time is 20-30 mins. I wonder what they cook taking so much time. Starter name was chicken ghee roast and it costed Rs 225. A regular biryani for 2 people costs Rs. 500 here which is insane. Highly overpriced place. Go here if you prefer only taste over everything and most importantly if you have decided to spend 800-1000 for 2 people. Service was also not so good. There were no salt and pepper on the table. The waiters roam clueless on the floors. Parking only easily available for 2 wheelers. 4 wheelers needs to be parked roadside. I would prefer Biryani Mahal or The downtown cafe over this place anytime in Patna. Not...
