Cafe Coffee Day, Race Course Road – A Decent Coffee Spot

⭐⭐⭐ As a tourist in Coimbatore, I've been on the lookout for a good cup of coffee, and I was pleased to discover Cafe Coffee Day on Race Course Road. After struggling to find a decent filter coffee in the area—most places serve weak blends mixed with chicory—this café provided a welcome relief.

While I would say it’s probably the best option for coffee in Coimbatore, I found the flavor still a bit on the weak side. Nonetheless, it’s definitely an improvement compared to other local offerings!

The café itself is comfortable with nice surroundings, making it a pleasant place to relax. The ambiance is inviting, and the hygiene standards are commendable, which adds to the overall experience.

One downside is that the prices are slightly higher than what you might expect, but given the quality and atmosphere, it's worth it for a decent cup of coffee. If you’re in Coimbatore and craving a better coffee experience, Cafe Coffee Day is a solid choice!

Water bottle scam of 2024:

I ordered a Gaurment Choco frappe and a Chicken toast something which was launched recently and at the time of ordering the Billing person asked me to add water bottle or not I said okay they added a bottle that was costing 57 rupees and my total bill was 786 Rupees and I made the card payment and they said all will be served in 15 minutes and then after 15 mins they served the frappe and 10 mins they served the Toast I was busy with my phone calls they finally didn't give the water bottle to me which was costing rupees 57 and I'm not paying them charity and these people should understand how to serve people since I was in a rush didn't collect my bottle but as a Cafe service wise they are supposed to give the water bottle before serving all the dishes but they made a scam out of it since if you people are looking for good service go to some other cafe cofee day where they respect you and service you better the only sake for this Place is Race course that's all nothing so people don't get scammed by these People at any cost...

Yesterday, I bought a cucumber mint cooler as a take away and I had nothing but 3/4th of icecubes, 2 lemon wedges along with two mint leaves and some drops of syrup, they are charging 260 for this, when enquired by directly visiting them showing what was Inside. They were very rude and denied to accept it was not properly made. Justifying they had already poured some sprite into it showing a half 200 ml bottle. We can understand the brand like coffe day can charge 260 for 100 ml of spite, ice cubes, lemon and mint. But they should have the courtesy of ensuring quality and quantity for that money. Literally disappointed, very next Street I bought a sprite for 20rs and I myself squeezed some lemon and mint into it which is 10rs as i found the great recipe of Coffee day's summer cooler which they charge...
