Even past 11:30.. we were allowed to complete our food.. 2 of the boys were available to take care of us.Thanks to them.
Food as usual was good. Noodles was a bit ok, not great.
Nice to try it on a week day in the end hours. Quite calm and peaceful.
My third visit there..
The restaurant offers a wonderful outdoor ambiance, perfect for spending a relaxed time. The menu is diverse with a good selection of items, ensuring there's something for everyone. For those who prefer indoor seating, the air-conditioned area boasts a royal and elegant look.
Weekends can be quite busy, so making a reservation is recommended. The service is commendable, with special mention to Gayathri, who is quick, attentive, and very helpful. It’s always a pleasure to encounter staff members like her who enhance the dining experience.
Overall, a great place to dine with both excellent food and service.
Drinks are on the expensive side
First visit experience
Located inside popyee on race course. Had been there for early dinner at 7. Located on the 5th floor. Access is through stairs and elevators. It has a low lighting ambience. Good in some areas and a let down in some area.. they have a good seating arrangement in 4 blocks on one side with good views. That area is good. The rest of the seating seems to be clumsy.
Service was fast in getting the food quick to the table.. but they got the orders wrong.. they missed the tables. We were about to start and they came running to stop and replace it...funny though.
Food was good in taste on items we ordered... i wouldnt says great..But we need to try a few more to comment on it .Cost is high, and does not justify it. Will give it a try again to try out few more and would try to side block seating.
Its packed on weekends.. and definitely needs...
Read moreNot worth the price AT ALL. Disappointing food and service in the 'so called' 'fine dining restaurant'. Following was our dinner experience.
No one at the reception desk to enquire or check for tables. We had to barge in, look for waiters and ask.
I didn't like the ambience, felt it was too dark, lights were so dim that we couldn't even see the food clearly.
We ordered everything upfront - soups, starters, main course and desserts. Before soup they served starters! I really hope the waiters and others are taught about basic things like what to serve, how and when.
The fish starter was so hard. Overcooked. The quantity was so less. Chicken starter was good.
Chicken briyani, the rice was so dry. Chicken tasted okay.
The main course breads were served just with the nonveg gravy we ordered and not the veg gravy. We had to enquire and wait for so long that our appetite was gone and the breads turned cold. Finally came the gravy. And then we had to ask them to heat the breads. It was a long wait. Pathetic.
Desserts! None of them did justice to its name.
i) Cheesecake was very average, too soft and very tangy.
ii) Brownie - It was nowhere close, just a plain chocolate cake and they call it brownie. Being a brownie fan I was so damn disappointed with it.
iii) Some Ferrero mud cake or something - It was too bad. Haven't tasted any desserts this bad.
iv) Fried ice cream - SOGGY AF! It was just how a fired ice cream shouldn't be.
After all this came the bill! 6k for 5 of us. The food and service wasn't even worth 25% of the amount.
Just because you have the restaurant in race course and got a rooftop doesn't mean you can charge hefty for such poor quality food and service.
I would suggest to try Kadhambam Multi-cuisine Restaurant, it was a million times better than this one for...
