Captain Sam's- Captain Sam's Pizza in Chandigarh-Unlimited Pizza Buffet — Restaurant in Chandigarh

I have been there yesterday after a long time, now they serve have 2 types of buffets.

Pizza buffet Indo Italian buffet.

I had Indo Italian buffet.

I have also uploaded a photo of their menu on table.

Lets start with the starters. Which are. (Rating according to taste out of 5

Panner tikka dry (4/5) Rangeela seekh kabab (5/5) Honey chilli cauliflower (5/5) Veg machurian (5/5) Todays special (soya chaap) (4/5)

In their starters, everything taste so good specially the veg rangeela kabab/also called hara bhara kabab and honey chilli cauliflower.

Soups Tomato soup (3/5) Manchow soup (3/5)

In chat's

Palak patta chat (3/5) (missing yesterday) Bhel puri chat (5/5) Tikki with channa (2/5) (missing yesterday)

Because I have been there many times before, I've tasted everything.

Yesterday they only serve you one type of chat. We had bhel puri chat only which was good.

In Italian menu.

Thare are 21 types of salads including pasta's and noodle.

I tasted all of it.

It's (4/5) I don't like Italian food much but some salads are really good.

Pizza's

Margherita pizza (2/5) Don't know the name but it does have paneer topping.(2/5)

Topping are good but the base is very hard.

Main course. Panner butter masala (1/5) Veg makhan wala (2/5) Dal tadka (3/5) Chilli mushroom (2/5) Noodles (1/5) Zeera rice (yesterday they have some different type of rice in yellow color taste was not good at all) (1/5)

Assorted Breads

Tandoori naan (4/5) Laccha prantha (4/5) Tandoori roti with butter (5/5)

Desserts Gulab jamun (3/5) Rasgula (3/5) Pastries are missing there are some small pieces of burfi in plates coconut burfi was (2/5) The other black color burfi was (3/5) Halwa (2/5)

My overall experience was okay. Because of my previous experiences with their buffet and it was as expected.

They don't even serve us green chutney with starters and what starters we want.

we have to ask them everything.

Tips :- don't sit near the speakers some times music is very loud and irritating.

Take a photo of the menu for ordering the stuff otherwise they will not serve you everything and as you start eating they take the menu away to empty the table.

The best time to eat is go as early as possible for better and quick service. (Before 1 pm for lunch).

Pay with dine-out app you will get discount and use hdfc credit card for more discount on the app.

Last but not the least The water bottle on the table Is of 45 rupees ask them for normal water if you don't want to...

Recently, I along with my friend had visited Captain Sam Pizza outlet as it's Unlimited Pizza buffet excited Us. This is purely a vegetarian outlet. It has a underground sitting for buffet and it has a really pleasant atmosphere. The buffet served 3 types of pizza, Salads, 2 varieties of soups in which u can choose 1, 2 types of Garlic bread and desert to end the Main course . Everyday they have a fixed choice of pizzas.

The day we went, we we're served the following kind of pizzas : Margarita - This was personally my favorite because The taste was amazing and we could literally feel the cheese on the pizza. Tandoori Pizza - The Base was think and Crispy and not more than 2 slices of the same could be eaten and it was equivalent to having no cheese on it. Pan Pizza - This was really good and had delicious toppings but had very less cheese so could not enjoy much.

Garlic Bread - Cheese Garlic Bread - They weren't that crispy and were soft but the taste was good. Onion & Capsicum Garlic Bread - They served the Garlic bread with a pinch of these toppings.

Soup - Hot and Sour soup and this took a really good place in my heart.

Salads - I personally did not like the section of salads. They were good in taste but only if u have maximum of 2 to 3 spoons. They need to improve alot in terms of mixing and matching up with the sauces.

Deserts - Chocolate Brownie served with Vanilla Ice cream and topped with Hershey's Chocolate syrup. It was amazing in taste 😍 Hot Gulab Jamun - It was again delicious because it had a stuffing of Khoya in it.

Drinks - We had separately ordered a Pitch of Pepsi.

In all, It was an amazing experience and the staff was also cooperative enough to wait for the next serving. Thank you for your service. I would surely visit again and that...

"Underwhelming Pizza Experience"

I recently tried Captain Sam's Pizza, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. Here's why:

🍕 Toppings Disappointment: The pizza arrived with very few toppings. It felt like they were rationing oregano, and the chilli flakes were practically nonexistent. The slice of capsicum resembled rubber – not exactly what you'd expect from a pizza joint.

💸 Questionable Value: Considering the lackluster toppings, the price felt steep. Price is low but for a meal that left me unsatisfied? Not worth it.

🌟 Low Ratings: Google users seem to agree – Captain Sam's Pizza hasn't received a high rating. Perhaps it's time for them to step up their game.

🤷‍♂️ Quiet Atmosphere: On the bright side, the restaurant does offer a quiet atmosphere. But ambiance alone can't save a lackluster pizza.

In summary, Captain Sam's Pizza didn't live up to expectations. If you're craving a satisfying pizza, I'd recommend exploring other options.
