Please don't visit garg chat these days in summer it's very crowded places in the evening and you wait time is so long and the temp is very high, u came to feel good & eat good at the place but due to high temp & huge crowd your all feelings are vanished. Also the baggager make hard to stand for order even at the time of eating. The problem is finding the parking near the shop it's a very rushed market.
Why they are famous because The quality and presentation of their chaat in the green patta container is so brilliant and so fascinating to experience. I had also tasted their achari chaap amd it was too good. The spices and it's tanginess was incredible. Golgapaas are so criso n yummmy. Must try
Garg chat 7Situated in sector 23, this is one of the best place if you are a Chaat lover. Definitely to taste the best you have to struggle a bit, although owner has tried to manage it by providing separate counters but it's not solving the purpose as I waited for around 25 minutes to take my order. Do visit and taste but only if you have time and patience.
Very tasty tikki crispy crunchy. Tikki is served already chopped and a plate made of banyan tree leaves heads-up they may leak. I was not happy why they algae chopped the tiki but it makes sense when you start eating tikki is very crunchy hence it’s hard to break...
Read more★★★★★ I recently visited Garg Chaat in Sector 23, Chandigarh, and it was an unforgettable experience that truly deserves a five-star rating! This place is a paradise for chaat enthusiasts, and their gol gappe are the undisputed highlight. What sets them apart is their incredible offering of seven distinct types of flavored water, each crafted with such care and creativity that every sip is a burst of flavor. From tangy to spicy, every water is absolutely phenomenal, but the guava water stole my heart with its refreshing, unique taste that perfectly balances sweet and tangy notes. The gol gappe themselves are a masterpiece—crisp, perfectly puffed, and served with impeccable hygiene, ensuring every bite is as delightful as it is safe. The attention to detail in preparation and presentation is evident, making each piece a joy to savor. The vibrant atmosphere of the place, combined with the friendly service, adds to the overall charm. Garg Chaat is a gem in Chandigarh’s food scene, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone craving authentic, flavorful, and hygienic street food. It’s a must-visit for an unforgettable...
Read moreIf you love Papri Chat, Golgappas (Pani Puris), Dahi Bhallas, Tikki Chat and Bhel Puri and you have still not visited this place, you have missed a fortune. Undoubtedly, the best place for all these mouth watering food delicacies in Chandigarh, and I am not at all exaggerating. I wonder how the place has been able to maintain the same taste and quality over the years, it has only bettered to say the least.. :) :)
Garg Chaat is a very small outlet in Sector 23 market right opposite Sector 23 temple, which I suppose is the oldest temple in Chandigarh, so is presumably this food joint. As far as I know, I have been going to this place from time immemorial and I have never been disappointed. You will understand the importance of this place if you will visit it in the evening and see throngs of people waiting for their turns. If you are to wait for half an hour or so, don't be surprised, the yummy delights served here are worth the wait..
Take your date out for a spicy retreat and I am sure you will be requested to visit the place over and over...
