Hotel City Park Plaza — Hotel in Chandigarh

Stayed with my family here for three nights in December 2018. I made my booking directly with the hotel. Miss Juhil made the reservation experience seamless and easy. The rooms were cleaned, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The best part is the food and the morning buffet. ||There are some cons: This hotel is popular for events and normally always busy with weddings and other events. First night we couldn’t sleep due to loud noise and the musics they were playing until midnight. I doubt if anyone in the hotel actually could sleep. After I complained few times they stopped the music after midnight. I was in a sheer shock that a reputed brand (Radisson!) hotel can do such cheap unreasonable thing. Being a Radisson member was not good enough for them to be considerate. My aged parents couldn’t sleep.||Next day the duty manager Mr Rishi came and apologised and also the hotel manager at the time of check out. Mr Rishi definitely could soften my anger but I want the management to take note of this incident which is not acceptable.||Another problem we had was with the smell from toilet. After numerous requests they run the so called exhaust which was not even good enough to hold a single tissue. It was unbearable and we were scared to go to toilet during our entire stay. I will definitely consider other hotel for stay at Chandigarh. Also taking out my Radisson membership as their customer service is useless and only interested in booking hotels without offering any help to customer...

I was surprised to see the dedication and empathy of the staff.. We had a wedding in family which got cancelled just 3 days prior because of the death in the family.. but because we had guest coming all the way from Germany and England we had to organise a small reception and we choose park plaza out of the whole lot.. and I would say we were right and more than happy to choose them..|The whole function went great and all the guest from abroad were so so happy and all of them appreciated the service and food from the hotel..|The chef himself came to us and surprised us with a great preparation from pork which all my guests tasted and loved..|Well it was a team effort but still some names as they took extra effort and went out of the way to make our event remarkable for our guest.. Mr. Omkar stayed back even after his shift was over just to take care of all of us..Mr. samraat was generous with the desserts and so were Mr. Manoj and Mr. Pankaj. .|I would happily recommend this hotel to all my friends and family..|Thanks hotel park plaza team.. may God be...

Pathetic House keeping services , bad condition of carpets in the corridors and stinking rooms. Staff seems to be very disconnected with their own brand, shows weak management here, sad. No body wash in bath rooms and scarcity of towel.Some staff members are very polite others are very arrogant/ indifferent and lazy. Inconsistent work culture, again shows weak leadership here.

5th floor and above are very badly maintained. Worst part is no one seems to be bothered about quality of services. All this shows that even Management is least worried about guests. Wonder how are they doing business in Chandigarh? Please make sure you check rooms before you pay.

To sum it Park Plaza property needs seriousness in their business and I would rather blame the top management here, that shows up in the culture down the line. I wish there was someone who does a good job to build quality for a potentially...
