I'm going to write about my first experience and when I am typing this I literally mean that this restaurant does not believe in first impressions as the last impression. I visited this place just a week ago and even after booking my place 30 mins prior to reaching there through a call, me and my friends had to wait for another 15-20 mins before finally getting a table but that was not the end of it. After seating down at our table, the co-owner of the place and one of the brothers who serves in the back-end of the restaurant immediately gave us the menus for us to order and after 2-3 min he stood up on our head seeing us in a fit of anger and Asking us if we had decided what to order. We told him that give us few more minutes to decide and after that he offered us water and dirty glasses. We gave our order in the next 3-4 minutes and we waited 10-15 mins (which is an acceptable amount of time for the order to come). We ordered tandoori sizzler and dahi kebabs and crispy corns firstly. And to our shock the taste of the food was stale and corns were not crispy , dahi kebabs had a very bad taste as if the dahi that has been used was expired. After that I asked him for some diet Coke and he told me in a very rude tone and that side look that diet Coke nahi hai humare pass. After that we ordered fried rice , dal makhani, Shahi paneer and butter naan. The food was above average but not very good. Our...
Read moreWe liked it when we entered. But honestly the place is too small and it got suffocating as soon as 2 more families entered. It was just too crowded. Although the taste is fine, nothing special, but the quantity is too less. Eg. We ordered tandoori paneer platter, but half of the plate was occupied by the so called decoration they did with pumpkin, rest of the space contained 3 small paneer pieces, 2 soya chap+ one broccoli, 2 mushrooms cut into 4 halves and 3 small pieces of small tandoori rolls. It was priced around 300. Althout Money n taste are not much of an issue here, but please dont fool people in the name of decoration. I have never had such a lame platter in Chandigarh. We also ordered Manchurian, taste was good but again same problem, less quantity. I was so upset with the suffocation of tightly packed sitting arrangement and this much less quantity of food that i asked for bill. They gave the bill and it was printed but GST free. Although i am not much aware of the importance of bill having GST n all, i thought i should mention it here. As the bill was as good as...

Inbetween, we complained for poor service and dirty cutlery, plates n glasses but proceeded with ordering main course post shabby assurance for clean replacement by attendant.
While waiting for main course, sudden appearance of Chandigarh police in investigating mode turned the ambience into tense atmosphere. Soon our curiosity got settled with disclosure, that family next table has just finished enjoying baby Mice in Kadai Paneer (n rang up police). Turned out to be moment of total disappointment 😞. Left with no option other than abandoning Laziz (off course paying for platters we ate) and putting our celebrations to forcible end !
We all skipped our dinner that night with spoiled mood. Next morning parent n kid were down with GIT infection.
Feedback depicts clear picture of pathetic situation and hope owner and area food inspector / authority will take...
