Located in the Sector 9 market, Yo! China is the place to be if you're craving traditional Chinese food. The place boasts a nice ambiance that sets the tone right as you enter. The decor is cozy, with wooden paneling and warm lighting that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The walls are adorned with modern frames and artwork, adding a stylish touch to the space. Comfortable well-arranged tables ensure a pleasant dining experience. They have established a strong presence with branches located throughout the Tricity area.
The place also has a hall in the basement, perfect for kids' birthday parties or kitty parties. However, the service can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes the staff is attentive, but other times they seem to disappear when you need them.
I ordered their combo meal, which included a choice of rice or noodles, a main dish, a snack dish, kimchi salad, and a soda. The food was okay, not spectacular. The spring roll wasn't as tasty as the ones you find at street stalls, and the fried rice was decent as a side with gravy but not great on its own. I was excited to try kimchi for the first time, but it didn't quite hit the mark. They do offer Kingfisher beer, which is a nice addition if you want a drink with your meal.
Their menu is extensive, with a range of appetizers, dim sum, main courses, and desserts. I think I'll need a few more visits to try everything and get a full sense of their offerings.
Overall, with its nice ambiance and wide variety of Chinese dishes, Yo! China is worth a visit. It may not have blown me away this time, but there's enough on the menu to warrant...
Read moreAlright, I have been ordering from here every Sunday for the past few weeks and let me tell you I absolutely love it. To be clear, I haven't eaten in the restaurant as much, just once I guess and it was a decent experience. But I have been zomato-ing the food. I have tried their meals ( paneer, manchurian and garlic) and I liked all of them.. It is a good place to have Chinese food. They pack their food really well so that when you open it, it's still hot. I loved the manchurians today. They were soft and hot and of course delicious. Although I am disappointed with the spring rolls. I don't think I have ever liked their spring rolls, they taste weird. Maybe I don't have a taste for them but I won't recommend the spring rolls. But yes, do try the manchurians . You will love them. Coming to the price part, I feel it is affordable. For ex- I paid 303 rs for a meal which had noodles, 6 pieces of manchurians with gravy, 4 spring rolls and sauces. But yes, I did use a coupon of 125 rs on zomato. The original price of the food is 349rs. In the end, if it's one of those days when you have too many problems to deal with. When you can't decide what to watch , when you had an argument with the boyfriend and when you are not feeling enough loved, I would suggest you order one of these meals, watch any of the Shahrukh's movies and...
