Hotel ABs 17 — Hotel in Chandigarh

This hotel is situated in Chandigarh's most 'happening' place, the sector 17 market, and is run by the 'Hot Millions', one of the best hang out, in whose 'salad bar restaurant' I used to perform as a musician during the year 2000. Enough reasons I decided to stay here on way my Shimla-Kerala trip. The room has Beautiful wood panelled walls and ambient lighting. I always check for cleanliness by the way they maintain their toilet. So the negative marking went for There were no towels (may be you need to ask for it). The hand shower to clean your ars had deposits on it. Hope they will take care to rub it out with germicides next time. I was charged my Room rent on my card, when I checked in. The night duty guy didn't record it online and forgot to inform the next person regarding that and when we left early morning 5am to catch our flight, my wife went to the reception to confirm that we are vacating, they charged again. We were actually getting late for the flight and the taxi was waiting. I had to go back and show my card bills to prove the double payment. They promised to pay back. But things like this causes confusion and delay. Besides it gives a bad start in the morning. So although we enjoyed the hangout and stay, these minor defects defenitely needs to...

Sector 17 in Chandigarh city is considered as prime location. Had tough time to locate this hotel as the hotel is located inside the commercial building itself. There was small entrance at ground floor & small old lift which takes you to the reception area.||||A lady at reception was not paying any attention & even she was not aware of about booking. Once we showed her booking then Checked In. When entered to the room it was awesome no complaint at all. Strange to see that the room has no windows at all so have to manage with artificial lighting only not expected.||||We didn't find anyone to help us with our luggages neither during CheckIn nor Checkout. We try with reception about the local sightseeing tour but unable gain any information. Later we manage searching through universal friend Google.||||Though it is named as Hotel but it seems that it operates like lodge. Luckily we booked it on room only basis.||||For Location just ask the Cab driver for Hot Millions restaurant will drop you without any confusion & hotel...

In all the stay at Chandigarh was ok, only regret was booking this hotel.||Its ok hotel if you get it for 1000 or 1500 in some offer or else look for alternate options||Extremely difficult to find this place, its marker totally at a different location in Google maps||The name mentioned at the entrance is no were matching to what is given on booking site||The restaurant managed by the same management at the ground floor is extremely over priced||The lift is at first floor and front office at 2nd floor, you will be lucky if you get a person to help with luggage. Or else travel lite!!|| ||Only plus point is that its situated in sector 17 and very near to Market area. And for food try...
