Looking at 500+ reviews and 4.5 rating, I decided to take my guests for Lunch. I regret bringing them here. There was just one lady handling all the customers by herself, including taking orders, serving food & taking the payments. The interior lack lights and felt a little claustrophobic. And the food was the worst part ! I was so ashamed in front my guests. Ordered 3 fish thalis, 2 chicken thalis, 2 veg thalis and 1 paneer dish. The veg thali includes only two types of dal, two types of sabji and 1 papad. That's it ! No chutney, no pickle, no salad, no sweet dish. That too tastes flat and plain. The rice felt half cooked. They had only 1 variety of fish to serve. There was no paneer dishes for vegetarians. The lady informed us that they can serve chilli paneer (who eats Chinese dish with thali ?), dry paneer and paneer gravy. We ordered the paneer gravy and that's probably be the worst paneer dish I have ever tasted. They just mixed vegetables, made a gravy and added few pieces of paneer in it. Totally tasteless. One of my guests told me that the chicken thali was average and she didn't like the chicken stick at all. Either the chefs are lazy or they actually serves these kind of food their customers. I'm amazed how they have a 4.5 rating with such poor service. Even a small restaurant by the street serves better quality of food. If u want to have a good meal, better check some other restaurants. Read moreSuggestion to the owner When you offer extra rice don’t just leave the bowl of rice on the table and go. Please serve the rice. As our right hand are busy at our food, serving with left hand to myself felt very difficult.
I found the rice bowl dirty there was some chutney stains inside the bowl.
Sunday might be busy for you. But the staff have to have the professionalism to give equal importance to all the tables. It’s you who have put that number of tables so serving with equal importance is required
After you offer the food please kindly ask once if the Coustomer need something. People should not keep waiting eating haft the food and finally you asked after I watched my hands
Please offer some mouth freshener or sonf during bill payment.
Please not allow other people to sit on the table where people are eating. People will not like if some unknown person sit by your side listen to your talks

Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant today(07/09/2025). I had ordered two Ligang Pork Thalis, and it took almost an hour to serve the food. But the real shock came when I found a hair in my food. When I reported it, the manager called a waiter (in red t-shirt) to change it, and after another half an hour we were given new plates.
To make things worse, while serving, dal spilled all over our table. When I politely asked him to clean it, the waiter gave me such a hostile look as if I was wrong to ask. We ended up eating on a dirty table.
Later, when we asked for extra rice, water, and lemon, the waiter said “ok” but never served anything. We waited for 30 minutes and still got nothing. Finally, when I went to pay the bill and explained my bad experience to the billing person, he completely ignored me and continued using his phone.
The attitude of the staff was very unprofessional, as if they were serving food for free. This was the most pathetic dining experience I’ve had in Jorhat, and I will never be visiting this...
