Foodies Table — Restaurant in Assam

Went for dinner with my Wife. Both of us ordered Lung-Fung soup. While I ordered with shrimp, my wife ordered with chicken. The waiter who brought out our food did not know which was which. By chance they gave us correct but then came back after a few seconds asking us to swap with each other. First sip of the soup we realised it was wrong. The waiter insisted that we pour out a couple of spoons onto a plate that he brought out just to be sure. After that we ordered a chilly chicken gravy with veg noodles for main course. This time they got us chicken noodles. Not that it hurt our religious sentiments or any such thing but the waiter witch utmost confidence insisted that the noodles were veg even when we showed him literal chunks of chicken. Did not matter much to me but for someone who actually is a vegetarian such an experience would really be off-putting. Impolite, utterly rude behaviour of the service captain named Subhash Saikia. An incompetent person in service managing to customers. Me and my friend went foodies table n sat on an unreserved two seater table as directed by their waiter. Next moment Mr. Subhash Saikia came n started telling us u cannot sit in this table infront of the whole restaurant where ppl were staring at us which was such an unpleasant n embarrassing situation to face. N said that u can sit at that corner table. Ok fine we understood, we went to sit at the corner n gave our order. Next moment we noticed Mr. Subhash Saikia directing two customer at that exact table from where we were pushed to get up by him which was unreserved. This was utterly shocking of this treatment from foodies table. Few of the other waiter/service man were also equally responsible for involved in this unpleasant behaviour they have shown towards us. This place has a great ambience with good food and good staff. The interior of this place has been beautifully decorated. The place offers a good variety of fooding options. There's no compromise with the quality of the food. What's better is that the prices arent really that high; good food at affordable prices. Great desserts as well. The staff seems very friendly and well mannered as well. They make sure that their guests leave with a smile on their faces. Overall, I would say that although this place is relatively new, it wouldn't be long before it becomes one of Jorhat's most sought after fooding destination. Most places tend to have beautiful themes and decors but their food isn't at par. However, foodies table is a different story. Great place with even better food. This will definitely be a bit with the masses. Good place to hang out with friends as well as family. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. You wouldn't be disappointed, mark my words.
