You can find a small food stall named Fateh Ki Kachori on Raj Niwas Marg in Civil Lines. Always crowded with sometimes more than hundred people waiting patiently to be served, Fateh Ki Kachori is known to serve the most delicious kachori Delhi. Brij, the owner’s grandfather started selling their iconic Kachori-Chole over 50 years ago. He proudly claims that they are the first ones who invented this snack. His grandfather used to carry the delicacies on his head and hop from one school gate to another, before settling at the current spot near St. Xavier’s School, Civil Lines.

The shop opens at 11 am. A dozen of pattas is laid out. Then a mixture of chole is prepared using garam masala, salt, amchoor chutney and so on. Once the chole mixture is made, they are plastered on kachori just like bread and butter. The combo is then topped with tangy chutney and sprinkled with homemade masala, which is a blend of 36 spices and salts including ajwain, kaali and peeli mirch, laung, kaala namak, elaichi etc. This is followed by a topping of freshly cut ginger, green chill, coriander slices and onions.

And the result is a...

One of the best kachori u ever tasted in delhi... It is very old cart near St Xavier's school And also near to Gujarati samaj school I completed my 12th from DUCS which is opposite to Gujarati samaj school a boys school... And from my school tym i usually eat kachori from fateh cart he gives discount for school students.... Rite now he sells 2 things which is mainly his famous Fateh ki kachori and chole kulchey... And i never miss to eat both of them whenever i visited to civil lines.... But the timing is limited he came in between 8-9 am and close his cart in between 4-5 pm... So if you want to eat you must visit his cart in between 10 am to 3 pm... He is also famous on social media lot of food vlogers upload his food on Instagram Facebook YouTube etc platforms.... You must try this.... If u r reading my review must go and eat this kachori u will thank me later.... And i forgot to mention the price so the price is very budget friendly.... Kachori per plate - ₹30 only 2 kachori in 1 plate Kulchey per plate -₹30 only 2 kulchey with...

Recently visited Fateh Chand Ki Kachori in Civil Lines and absolutely loved the experience! The Kachori ( Rs 40/-) was perfectly crisp and full of flavor, while the Chole Kulcha (Rs 40/-) had that authentic Delhi-style taste — spicy, tangy, and very satisfying. The food felt fresh and homemade, with great consistency in taste. The place has a simple yet lively vibe, and the service was quick despite the crowd. It’s one of those classic Delhi spots that never disappoints when you’re craving good street-style food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in or around Civil Lines!
