Vaango is a refreshing outlet if you are looking for some south Indian food stuff and that too at reasonable prices.
The highest seller is their ₹99 (+GST) platter. This is a nice cute food outlet located on food court..if you are confused, want to have some sumptuous food at reasonable price and like south Indian stuff then this is the place.
What is costly is their filter coffee. In winters when you badly need a hot cup of coffee then you feel the pinch. If they think their filter coffee price cannot be brought down then they should install a Nestle or Bru vending machine for it so that people do not have to think twice before ordering coffee.
The most popular south Indian platter costs ₹99 plus taxes. This gives you a nice start though you may not get the feeling of fulfillment at the end. There is a small dosa and I liked it. Two pieces of small idlis were good. There is also small portion of upma which I liked much.
Yes, I miissed vada in the platter. What became the laughing issue was their miniscule portion of Kesari Halwa. Anyway, a kind gesture to serve good food at affordable prices for everyone. I had two platters as one was not enough for me.
However, Vaango needs to work a little more on quality of sambhar that is served here. I liked the coconut chutney but missed out on gun powder chutney.
Vaango has many outlets and you can visit one which is close to your place.
SUGGESTION: Vaango can spread its wings and should open outlets on highways/ expressways across country. This way they will not only spread their business but also serve a noble cause of catering good food at affordable prices to passengers on-the-go.

Read moreI remember Vaango used to be so good almost 6 years ago. Now they seem to cringe on everything. You ask for extra chutney, they will see you as if you asked for thier kidney.
I was refused for the 119/- offer twice till now and never able to taste it. They will always say it was over and this was for morning only. Guess what, mall opens at around 11am and we reach there by 2PM.
