One of the Best places to eat in Delhi. Every dish was perfection on plate. Beautifully presented dishes paired with a 5 star service was an absolute delight. We were served by Krishna Gaurav (might be misspelling his name) who was on his toes for the whole dinnertime, making sure that each element of our dinner was perfect.
We ordered the Espresso Tiramisu (which is now one of my favorite drink, an absolute must try), coconut flat white which was also good and unique, zatar chicken (check spelling in menu😅) which was cooked perfectly and was nicely accompanied with a dip, Nonna's lasagna which was also good and filling, Nashville chicken burger which was just wow and yummy.. another must try, and finally cononut & lime Tres leches which was an absolute harmony of flavours..the lime sorbet was freshness personified.
We had 2 issues, the AC suddenly went down and it was hot as anything. Though it was a rare event, it did leave an otherwise perfect evening with a slight inconvenience. The other one was the water bottle. We were asked for still or sparkling water, we selected still water expecting it to be normal water or even on the odd chance slightly expensive water. What turned out was a Rs 295 + GST + Service Tax bottle of 750ml water bottle. Which was absolute bonkers and is something which should be either mentioned beforehand by the server or should be explicitly visible to the customer before being they unseal the bottle.
We didn't raise an issue for this and I'm not removing rating for it in the. Hope that the restaurant would rectify this in the future.
We would certainly visit Blanca again to check out the breakfast as suggested by the head mixologist Mr. Sanjay(again hoping I remember the...
Read moreI recently dined at Blanca, and it was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Every dish was a disaster.
To start, the calamari was completely overpowered by an excessive amount of lemon zest, which masked any flavor the calamari might have had. Then, the burrata salad arrived without any burrata at all—just a sad pile of wilted greens. How can you call it a burrata salad when the key ingredient is missing?
The main courses were no better. I ordered fish and chips, expecting a classic dish, but what I got was anything but. They used sea bass instead of cod, which didn’t work at all—the texture was off, and the fish tasted strange. The chef took the chips too serious and served us actual wafers instead of fries which were unappetizing. To top it all off, the katsu fried rice with chicken was served with soy sauce instead of katsu curry. It was a complete misfire, leaving me wondering if they even knew what katsu is supposed to be.
On top of the terrible food, the service was inattentive and slow. I had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water refills, and the staff seemed indifferent to the poor quality of the meal.
Overall, Blancawas a complete letdown. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and eat...
Read moreBlanca is a nice, cozy spot with a great breakfast menu. Although I visited in the evening, the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed dining experience.
Here’s what I tried from the menu: • Za’atar Chicken Souvlaki: It was flavorful, and I’d rate it 4.5/5. A definite must-try!
• Tokyo Fish & Chips: This dish could use some improvement in taste, so I’d give it a 3/5. However, the dip served alongside, infused with kaffir lime, was absolutely delicious and added a burst of flavor.
• Turkish Lamb Kefte: This was a highlight—juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. I’d rate it 4.5/5.
• Coconut & Lime Tres Leches: The dessert was good, but the flavors didn’t bind together well. I’d rate it 3/5.
While the food quality is impressive, I did find the menu to be a bit limited and the pricing on the higher side.
Overall, Blanca is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere and some standout dishes, though there’s room for...
