Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters | Malviya Nagar — Restaurant in Delhi

BT on a rainy day. Dark clouds had started to take shape right since the morning. But work had to be attended to. I huddled under my red umbrella to reach qutab metro and i had to wait for at least 3 trains to finally manage to get into one. Metro services were delayed, I read while quickly checking their twitter page. It seemed like the train was crawling and i felt a sudden need for savoury coffee. When i got off at malaviya nagar metro, the clouds had started to turn raging and mellow. I felt the first few drops of a torrential rain as i got on my rapido bike. Before i managed to reach BT outlet, the rain had asserted itself in full glory. All green had come alive. I entred BT, and so did all the blue. I took a seat by the corner, got my an orange brew with an oats cookie and sat for the first time in malaviya BT outlet and wishes time would never pass. I wanted things to crawl the way it was in the metro....

I had a very disappointing experience at Blue Tokai (Malviya Nagar). The pasta was completely tasteless and pale, which was very underwhelming. The service also fell short, sugar was not served properly, I had to repeatedly ask for water. The staff at the counter, unfortunately, came across as quite rude and dismissive when I asked for simple details of pasta!

I have been a regular at Blue Tokai, but this experience was truly the worst so far by any blue tokai. I hope the team takes this as constructive feedback and works on both food quality and staff behavior. Unfortunately, you’ve lost a customer today. Another wonderful outlet of BT and this one is situated in Malviya Nagar, right by the main road, which means, it is very easy to locate (Google Maps can bring you straight to it!). But, it also means, parking here can and will be an issue.

Since I visit coffee shops early morning, parking isn't an issue then, but eventually, during the day, parking will be an issue. So, beware of this little detail. Other than that, the coffee, vibe, ambience, staff and even the food - everything is, as usual, top notch!
