I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience deserves attention.
I walked into the Tilak Nagar Burger King recently and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. When I approached the counter to order, a staff member named Gaurav bluntly told me I had to place my order through the touchscreen kiosk. I politely told him I wasn’t comfortable using the digital machine and would rather give my order directly, but he refused and kept pointing toward the screen instead of helping.
There was no rush, no line, nothing stopping him from taking a simple order. It wasn’t just unhelpful — his tone felt dismissive and arrogant. I felt like I wasn’t even being treated like a customer.
As far as I know, Burger King hasn’t announced any official policy making EVM/kiosk ordering mandatory in India — especially not when staff are free. Then why force people and make them uncomfortable?
This experience left a bad taste, honestly more than the food would have. Customers should always have the option to order at the counter — especially elderly people or anyone not comfortable with machines.

Read moreSharing my today's experience in burger King tilak nagar outlet - I was ordering with my friend on that self service machine but there was a lady from staff keep asking me that ' sir apko ky order Krna h ' on repeat. I tell her very politely that we're now deciding what to order but she kept stood there nd staring us . Nd while I making changes on my order , she started treating me rudely like I don't knw how to operate that machine or I'm uneducated or something. Those irritating staff never let customer's order in peace . They just tell you about unwanted offers nd sometimes interrupt while someone is ordering. Dear burger King - tell your staff to not being irritating always , let customer's order themselves!! If someone wants help they'll call someone. Don't be cheap...
Read moreI recently visited the Burger King outlet at Tilak Nagar and encountered an unsettling experience. Upon requesting to place my order manually, I was met with rudeness by an employee, Gaurav, who firmly refused to take the order in person, despite the restaurant being empty. He insisted I use the EVM machine instead—even after I explained my discomfort with that method. This inflexible approach was disappointing and left me feeling politely dismissed.
Suggested Improvement Switching to automated order systems like EVMs can be efficient, but staff should remain courteous and accommodate customers who prefer traditional methods—especially when usage is not mandatory or when the store isn’t busy. A more customer-friendly...
