Let me share my total experience with you. First I parked my car inside an open gate where the parking guy would want your car keys. The parking is not too big and it would be difficult to find parking anywhere near. Since the police station is just next to this place, there is a high chance of your car being towed. Better to park in the designated area or some area far away where the car would not be towed. Once parked, there is a small congested lane that you have to travel by foot for around 2-3 minutes to get to your destination of dolma. The lane is filled with tibetan (don't know much about the people that are living there, so I might be wrong about their tibetan background, sorry if I am wrong) street vendors selling clothes and other brick brats. The lane was mostly clean with occasional sights of puke and dog poop, so watch your steps. Eventually you would reach dolma, a small restaurant with a seating area of 7-8 closely packed tables with each table accommodating 2 to 4 people max. Most of the people there would be eating non vegetarian food and if you are not okay with the smells, dont visit this place. I am a vegetarian and went with a non vegetarian friend. First we ordered chilly garlic noodles that was served with some tasty grape soda. Noodles were good and I would rate their chilliness 7/10 and taste 8/10. I am a fan of chillie food so I am very particular about the hotness level. It was not so hot, but overall taste was good. Next we ordered veg momos for me and mutton momos for my friend. Mine had a very strong smell of ginger garlic and I did not like it however my friend liked his mutton momos.i would rate my veg momos 4/10. The red chillie chutney that comes with momos was very good and I liked the increase in the chilliness with just a small dollop of it. Next we got the aloo momos packed and ate it inside the car. We both did not like it. Maybe it was meant to be consumed freshly prepared. Overall my experience was okay. As a vegetarian, I do not see anything so special in this place that I would come from Pitampura to this place especially for food. I am sure that for a non vegetarian, it is a good place since they have a host of offering catering to the...
Read moreWent there yesterday with my friends as i heard a lot about it. when we enter the restaurant it was heavily crowded we asked the counter person to arrange space for 3 guys for that we have to wait 10 minutes which is not an issue. finally we got seat there. we noticed that there was a group of 6 people just by us and they were yelling "that its been 1 hour for us and you guys aren't even telling us when our food will be delivered". Well that was a bit confusing moment for us because we guys just made our order a moment ago that do we guys also have have to wait like them. and to my surprise it was around 35 to 40 minutes there was no trace of our food. we try keep on calling the service boys for order status but they were carrying a strange attitude like they were neglecting our call. Then finally i went to the counter to know the status of the order as it was more than 40 minutes, i asked the guy there and he told me that when you made the order? i told me that dude its been more than half an hour (aadha ghanta - will tell you why i mention in Hindi) he said no sir its not that late then i told him bhai aadhe ghante se upar ho chuke hai please tell us whether you are delivering our food or else we are leaving. He said yes sir aadha ghanta hua h aapke order ko but half an hour nahi hua hai. After hearing this i was like "BLANK". Then i told him bro just tell me how long we have to wait, he showed a strange look and said please ask the service boy as you have told order to them. I was about to turn around to ask my friends to immediately leave that place but to my surprise the service boy cam with two dishes out of five which we ordered and again to my surprise they were like weren't hot as they were supposed to be. The food was OK not that worthy for which we came for!!
Visiting here was the lamest experience. Please improve your service speed and food...
Read moreMKT has been my favourite place to hang out since the last 5 years and I frequently visit this place because of the food.
Recently went to this place for the first time to try the food, I was hoping it would become my next favourite go to place. But god I was disappointed.
Let me start with the food. We specifically asked for the noodles to be extra spicy as we understand that the normal spice balance might not be as per our taste, but the chilli garlic noodles were bland, there was no chilli and no taste of garlic in chilli garlic noodles. I have tried tons of chilli garlic noodles and these were below average, tasted nothing. We had to ask for extra red chilli chutney to make it edible.
The most horrible part of this cafe is the service for which most cafes charge “service charge”. The people working there would gossip after you order, they will gawk at you while you are eating and they would make groups to chit chat, it was not just with me but I noticed it with the other people sitting across me as well, they had come there to celebrate a birthday, and they were looked upon, gossiped about, one girl from that group ordered something or gave a direction of some kind, the waitress the moment she moved away made a very strange face looking at her other friends working there.
In short the environment there is that they are doing some big favour by serving us food and taking our order.
This is not the kind of environment one looks for while having a brunch. We as customers want peace and quiet rather than a group of people gawking at us while we...
