Located at the bylanes of Majnu-ka-tila, this restaurant has captured the essence of Korea. The seating was thoughtfully divided into three sections – classic table seating, traditional floor seating, and a unique hybrid where you sit on the floor but can comfortably let your legs hang below. The décor was warm and inviting, with the highlight being a stunning Korean cherry blossom tree, seems to be a perfect photo spot straight out of a K-drama. We tried a variety of dishes – veg japchae, chicken bulgogi barbecue, veg & prawn kimbap, non-veg bibimbap along with soju, rice beer and cheesecake. Each dish was prepared with care, balancing authentic Korean flavours with fresh, well-chosen ingredients. The japchae had a lovely sesame aroma and a perfect noodle texture, the bulgogi was tender and smoky from the grill, the kimbap was neatly rolled with vibrant fillings and the bibimbap came with a satisfying mix of textures and colours. Drinks complemented the meal perfectly. The cheesecake was smooth, creamy and kind of melt-in-the-mouth. The overall dining experience felt thoughtfully crafted. One small area for improvement would be staff training – explaining Korean dishes in a more descriptive and technical way could help first-time visitors fine-tune their orders, especially since these aren’t everyday Indian staples. Tariff is slightly on the higher side. Overall verdict- worth visiting for beautiful ambience, authentic flavours and a memorable dining experience.

Hello people !! A very happy Diwali to all of you. Hope you’re enjoying this long weekend with your family & friends !! As you all know I am a big time foodie & to expand my food palette experience I tend to ask a lot of questions & suggestions based on food. That’s how gangnam pops out from my friend’s mouth. Finally I got a chance to visit this outlet which is located at Tibetan colony. The ambience is very Korean and attention to detail to every fixtures is on point. You can also get yourself clicked some pictures in kimono attire. Moving on to food, I ordered miso ramen, soup dumplings & Korean fried chicken. Miso ramen felt so good & comforting. It was simmer to perfection. Soup dumplings were okay. I found the dumplings good but soup didn’t suited my palette. Lastly, Korean fried chicken which felt overly tangy. It was okay could’ve been better. Suggestion - Do try soju. It feels so good !! Price & staff - Staff was courteous but at the same time very much occupied due to heavy demand. Price was reasonable and economical. You can eat a lot at genuine price. I would recommend you guys to try it out once not only because of its food but ambience as well. They’ve those Korean mats on which you sit with your kneecaps fold. Very traditional & peculiar !!

I went there with my friends to enjoy the weather to chill out . We parked our var outside the majnu ka teela on road side . You can also take metro for vidhan sabha then take auto. Its located on the first floor ,there is lift but its not working. As we entered there is so peaceful vibe of korea as well japan like wooden architecture sitting couches with wooden cabins sakura blossoms so cozy and beautiful. we got the table as soon as we entered there is no waiting. They have button system as you press the button you can order food ,call for bill and 2 more options . Then we ordered ramen, black bean noodles, virgin mojito, cold coffee, mud cake, avocado sushi. Ramen was so delicious, Black bean noodles was not so good. Cold coffee was good. Mud cake was delicious. Sushi was delicious. Mojito was little tangy. Kimchi was authentic. Price was affordable Ambience was so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Overall experience was excellent.

Majnu ka Tilla, often referred to as "Mini Tibet" in Delhi, is renowned for its vibrant mix of Tibetan culture, food, and lifestyle. Among its many eateries, Gangnam Restaurant stands out as a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike. Ambience and Decor Gangnam Restaurant boasts a cozy and intimate setting, with a decor that blends modern aesthetics with subtle hints of Tibetan and Korean influences. The seating is comfortable, with a mix of wooden tables and cushioned chairs, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The walls are adorned with artwork and posters, reflecting a fusion of cultures that adds to the overall charm of the place. Soft lighting and mellow background music further enhance the dining experience, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and intimate dinners.

Menu and Cuisine The menu at Gangnam Restaurant offers an extensive selection of Tibetan, Korean, and Chinese dishes, catering to a variety of tastes. The restaurant is particularly known for its authentic Tibetan momos (dumplings), which are a must-try. They offer both steamed and fried variants, filled with options like chicken, pork, and vegetables, all bursting with flavor.

The thukpa, a hearty Tibetan noodle soup, is another highlight, available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions. It's rich, flavorful, and perfect for a comforting meal. For those inclined towards Korean cuisine, the restaurant offers dishes like kimchi, bibimbap, and Korean fried chicken, each prepared with a balance of traditional flavors and a touch of innovation.

Food Quality and Presentation The food at Gangnam Restaurant is known for its quality and freshness. The ingredients are well-chosen, ensuring that each dish is flavorful and true to its roots. The presentation of the dishes is simple yet appealing, emphasizing the natural colors and textures of the food. The momos, for example, are served piping hot, accompanied by a spicy dipping sauce that perfectly complements the delicate flavors of the dumplings.

Service The service at Gangnam Restaurant is friendly and efficient. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, making sure that diners have a pleasant experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are more than willing to offer recommendations based on your preferences. The wait time for food is reasonable, even during peak hours, which is a testament to the restaurant's well-organized kitchen.

Pricing Gangnam Restaurant offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes. It's an ideal spot for students, young professionals, and families looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

Overall Experience Gangnam Restaurant in Majnu ka Tilla is a delightful culinary experience that offers a blend of Tibetan, Korean, and Chinese flavors in a cozy and inviting setting. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, the restaurant caters to all, making it a must-visit when exploring the area. The combination of authentic dishes, attentive service, and reasonable pricing makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Tibet and...

You guys do not deserve a single star!!!!

See I have no idea whether this feedback would be worth! I do not think they gonna take any action cause they meant for money minded! Give no ….* as they are only meant to throw the food with no passion with no respect with no hospitality and manners(they do not matter how that food sucks and their behaviours). See ambience is secondary thing, the primary thing is food and your well behaviours. Do we owe you guys sth???(any explanation). We didn’t visit to eat for free or you guys serve and sell food for free! The respond they provide is so cheap and do not understand what they are speaking and have no idea what exactly the Resturant is meant for! Or you guys just came to make your faces and act rude action and show arrogant behaviour( got zero knowledge what exactly the hospitality should be). A lady said we do not repeat the side dishes, we need to pay for repetition of side dishes( as we asked just for kimchi a little bit) okay not an issue we will do pay it. After a while the another lady comes and starts creating nonsense scene saying we need to buy 1kg or 1/2 kg detailing with price in a very un appropriate way (700/- rupees per kg) seriously felt like a punch on face! And thought to ruin everything at that moment. What a pathetic behaviour! Do you think a fish cake which was served in old dirty rusted pot with very un hygienic food worth for more than 800 rupees! Is it correct dude! See we never comment on food cause we have that sympathy as we know the fact it won’t be authentic food! But at-least serve with good presentation! As We are paying for that!

Instead of listening they have to win making themselves correct! Explaining rubbish reasons in un appropriate manner! Just hate it guys! You guys deserve nothing in manner.(mannerless servers and people)

The Bell is totally useless.they don't come to your table even after calling several times. Do you want to pack food, we said yes m! the usage of sentences goes like that…( listen in the first moment if you need packing. One packing 15 rupees) what the hell they trying too… Hell out of it! Useless people, they feel they are always correct thinks nobody can compare us) that is the attitude they carry!!! The food is really pathetic, and presentation( they made us think we are road people came for hunting food) The momos served was like a road stall( momos on top each other) dude we are paying for it! Charges are as same as 5-star restaurants and serving food not worth of 0 rupee…

Paying almost more than 4500/- do you think we did right job paying you guys just for yours stupid behaviours and dirty foods. Have faith guys ! Wastage of all day mood hardcore money!!! A day will come, where you guys have...

Me and my friend were going to eat korean food for the first time and after watching alot of vlogs and reading a plethora of reviews my girlfriend decided to choose this place over Busan koran (which was our first preference earlier). We entered the place like anybody else would do and the staff and waiters were not welcoming at all. We were roaming around like visitors in a park and no one attended us to provide us a table or even greet us. We decided to sit in a private cabin but in the heat of 45 degrees there was no air conditioning AT All. It literally felt like I'm boiling myself in a hot pot. We asked them to show us a table where there is proper air conditioning and they guided us to a table where it felt like i could breathe again (still not good ac). HERE COMES THE FUN PART. We ordered a non veg tteok-bokki, a jajangmyeon and Jaeyook Bokkeum. First- they served us a Vegetarian tteok-bokki instead of a non-veg one. Being completely oblivious with korean food, we started eating it and ate atleast half of it. Then they came up with another tteok-bokki which was non-vegetarian. The waitress asked us if we have taken the vegetarian one and we had to agree with her in hesitation. These stupid people didn't have enough courtesy to inform us that they served us the wrong order previously. HERE COMES ANOTHER FUN PART. They did take our order for the non-veg tteok-bokki and it got served to the people beside us. She called the manager and went outside. God knows what happened after that. They served us a water bottle but we didn't order it. A minute later another waiter comes amd picks up the bottle only to give it to the people who came after the lady who just got her religion destroyed by eating non-veg. Everything else was basic and not at all value for money. THEY CHARGED US FOR BOTH THE TTEOK-BOKKI WHICH WE DID PAY FOR BECAUSE WE DIDN'T WANT TO ARGUE AT THAT TIME. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO WANTS HAVE A KOREAN FOOD EXPERIENCE FOR THE FIRST TIME. WOULD RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO HAVE THE LAST EXPERIENCE OF YOUR KOREAN FOOD ENTHUSIASM. The cashier guy was rude as well because we wanted to pay half in cash and the other half through UPI. The upi server had some issues and my girlfriend had to go to a nearby ATM for cash withdrawal. The whole time I was there, these people were restless for their money as if we're going to run away without paying them. Worst experience ever. If I had to, I would give this restaurant a rating of 1 out of 100 and that is too because the soju and coke was the only good thing. We paid 2350 rupees for an unworthy, and...
