Cafe legato — Restaurant in Delhi

Good people, good vibes, good food. What else is needed ❤️

I was looking for a cafe to work for a few hours, and I was about to not go to this place because of some negative reviews at the top, but thankfully I decided to give it a shot 😃

So, my two cents on those negative reviews hoping it helps those who have a similar dilemma like I had.

Regarding negative reviews related to pricing, I am yet to find a cafe across India that charges less than this, esp in a metro. Even in remote locations of India, I find similar pricing many a times.

Regarding negative reviews related to the bad behaviour of cafe personnel, I didn't find any. From getting one person of cafe at the entry of the mall to introduce the cafe and all the people of the cafe that followed, everyone spoke politely and answered any queries I had.

So, definitely recommended and looking forward to visiting next time as well when I am in this area:)

I wish there was a lower rating than this. I went there with my parents because we were misinformed that they have vegetarian north Indian food. When we went there, there were three menus for drinks and not even one proper menu for food. We wanted to leave but at the insistence of the owner, we stayed and had two iced coffees and one espresso frappe which they claimed to be great but was so-so. What was worse is that later during billing, they informed us that there is only one size, of course only the more expensive size and they ended up overcharging us for their not so good coffees. This miscommunication and misinformation and then the restaurant owner's judgemental behaviour is what ruined my night after a long tiring day. Cafe Legato is a beautiful spot with a fantastic, stylish atmosphere, high ceilings, and great views, which really elevates the dining experience. The ambiance alone earns high marks, making it perfect for a date or special occasion. However, the overall experience falls into the 'average' category. While the food is good, it doesn't quite justify the premium price point, which is a major factor in a 3-star rating. Service was generally attentive, but at times felt a little slow considering the cost.
