Absolutely Dreadful: A Review of Castle Barbeque NSP If you value your time and your taste buds, run in the opposite direction of Castle Barbeque at NSP. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The Endless Wait Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were left standing around like furniture for an absurdly long time. The staff seemed completely disorganized, frantic, and entirely unconcerned with the frustrated crowd piling up at the entrance. "Pre-booking" is clearly a meaningless term here. The level of mismanagement and indifference to customer time is frankly insulting. We wasted a significant portion of our evening before even sitting down. The Utterly Tasteless Food After the marathon wait, we braced ourselves for the buffet—and were immediately hit with another wave of disappointment. The food quality was pathetic. Starters/Grill: The so-called "barbeque" items were dry, rubbery, and incredibly bland. The marinade seemed to have been a simple mix of salt and sadness. We practically had to beg the staff to bring fresh portions, and even those were substandard. It was impossible to tell what half the meats were supposed to be, as they all tasted of absolutely nothing. Main Course: The main dishes were no better. Everything was swimming in oil, yet still managed to be tasteless. The curries were watery, the rice was sticky and overcooked, and the ingredients tasted cheap and unappetizing. It felt like they had cooked everything days ago and just reheated it poorly. Desserts: The desserts were the final insult—syrupy sweet, artificial, and stale. A truly pathetic end to a miserable meal. Final Verdict: An Expensive Mistake Castle Barbeque NSP is a disaster. It's overpriced, the service is non-existent, and the food is utterly inedible. The atmosphere is loud and chaotic, the seating process is a joke, and you leave feeling ripped off and profoundly unsatisfied. Save your money and your evening. There are countless other restaurants in NSP. Choosing this one is a guarantee of disappointment. Rating: 0/5 (But forced to...
Read moreVery very very Very very bad experience, wherever I go I never put the reviews but this time it was very much necessary for me to post. We went to the restaurant around 9 pm and we made our booking through Dineout. The restaurant was totally packed and still the manger was accepting the booking. I could see that there was so of delay in food service and none of the waiters knew what they are doing. The kebabs were totally uncooked and taste was awful.Being from food industry I do understand sometimes there are challenges but like this they will loose the customers. Somehow I managed to order 1 beer and some snacks for my family but I took 55 mins for them to give me on my table. Finally at 10.30 pm we decided let’s go and not waste our time here and I requested for my bill specifically from the restaurant manager and I gave him the feedback in a very polite way. I mentioned them don’t do overbooking if you guys can handle it like this you will loose business and this is service industry. Please pass my message to the owners think from long term perspective not short term benefits. Just to mention this was my second visit to the restaurant as my wife really liked your Thai green curry but today it was not in the menu. Now let’s come to the best part I requested for the bill from manager and I mentioned I have booked through Dineout and I will pay through that he said don’t worry I have given 20% discount you can pay by cash. You really think we are coming to your restaurant for discount. It’s our hard earned money my friend and when my wife said that we will definitely put a review your manger is giving us food voucher and apologizing that please give us chance next time. Guys never eat there dessert specially the fruits they have, I actually forgot to take the pictures. Watermelon was stinking. Chef please look into the food quality what you guys are serving. This review will make you guys understand don’t treat your guest fool. This is for all the food restaurant chains.Anyways hope you guys will read this review will take it...
Read moreToday was the worst dining experience of ours at this place. I will start with the good things which was we bought the couple on nearbuy which we accidentally clicked on use now and it got redeemed even before going there. We talked to their manager and he said it’s all fine and even let us have lunch the next day as it was too crowded on Sunday.
Now comes the worst part- The waiter brought the tandoor and the food to be kept on there. Paneer tikka was uncooked. It was just marinated paneer on the stick which we had to cook on our own. Generally it is already cooked and we keep it on the tandoor so it stays warm.
The first stick of paneer he kept there, had a strand of HAIR on it. The waiter just picked the hair and threw it and left the stick on our table with that panner. I asked him to take that stick away and it was kept on someone else’s table in front of us.
The food was disgusting. The worst food that I have ever had. Honey chilli potatoes were just french fries dipped in honey. Bread pizza was disgusting.
Main course- Food was smelly and it tasted like 2 days old.
I picked up their napkin and it was smelling like PUKE.
The only good thing was a pineapple because it was not cooked by them. Raw pineapple that we had to grill ourselves.
Now comes the worst part- A cockroach was there on the wall which was by our table. It was just running on the table and the wall and there was just dirt everywhere. I told the waiter and he just simply moved our table a little away from the wall like it’s nothing.
Also the mint chutney kept on the table smelled and tasted like 3 days old.
I don’t understand how people are going and eating there but this was my life’s worst experience and I do not recommend this.
Not at all worth the money. People might get sick if this place continues to...
