I am constantly on the lookout for establishments that offer Jain cuisine, ensuring that my family can savor a delightful meal. Castle's Barbeque happens to be one such restaurant that meets our preferences. Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of my book at this venue. The children were filled with anticipation and joy as we embarked on our visit to this barbecue restaurant. Being a frequent patron, I have come to expect exceptional service from Castle's Barbeque, and they have consistently delivered.
Despite the bustling weekend, we arrived in the late evening when the crowd had subsided. However, I was taken aback by the disappointingly poor service we encountered on this particular occasion. The cutlery on our table was insufficient, and we were forced to wait for a spoon for an excessive period of at least half an hour. Instead of prioritizing service, it seemed as though the staff were preoccupied with engaging in arguments. For instance, when I requested that my Jain food, free from onions and garlic, be cooked on the barbecue, they initially resisted and declined. Furthermore, when we asked for a specific item, such as a chat item, to be served at our table, they outright ignored our request, despite only a few tables being occupied at the time.
To compound matters, the staff repeatedly inquired about the ages of our children and informed us that we would be charged the full price if any child was above the age of 9. I complied with this policy and requested them to focus on providing the service we expected. We were willing to pay any amount stated on the bill. However, it was disconcerting to note that they then recorded that one child would be charged in full, while the other would be charged half, yet they had still not provided the spoon we had requested half an hour prior. We managed to conclude our meal somehow.
When the bill arrived, I was astonished to find that they had charged the full amount for all the children. I immediately sought assistance, requesting someone to review the bill, but regrettably, no one responded. With time constraints pressing upon us, I reluctantly settled the bill. However, my wife insisted on speaking with the manager. A representative from the bar came forward and acknowledged the mistake, albeit stating that nothing could be done at that point. This situation has been incredibly frustrating and perplexing. Additionally, I was surprised to find a service charge included on the bill, despite not receiving the level of service expected.
I extend my gratitude to Castle's Barbeque for their provision of service. However, I sincerely hope that they take this incident as an opportunity to rectify their shortcomings and ensure that their future patrons do not encounter similar experiences. Clear communication, attentive service, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction are integral to maintaining a positive reputation. I trust that Castle's Barbeque will take the necessary steps to regain the trust of their...
Read moreLocated in the most happening place of West Delhi, Pacific Mall, Castle Barbeque is indeed a Castle built for Foodie Kings and Queens. You can easily spot it through the lighted glass windows and lighted on the extreme right end of the 3rd floor, just above the Food court. The tall hood entrance opens to the Armour Suit Men, Chandeliers, Courtyard high windows, Right Corner King Highchair and A Royal Gully that has enough seating to entertain 100 guest at a time. The seatings have been divided through tall bamboo pillars for small and big groups. The overall feel of the place is contemporary with a touch of modern hue.
The owner was moving around smilingly and instructing the managers and servers to take care of the guest, which shows the warmth and courteousness of the place they offer their guess. Always Jam-packed during the main hours, you might have to wait or better visit with prior booking.
The middle right corner to the end is the Buffet placed with 3-4 livestations for Pasta/Maggie, Chat, Stone Ice cream and Candy Floss. All the tables have Barbeque station slots to make you enjoy your live Barbeques sizzling right on your table.

Read moreI visited Castle Barbeque yesterday with my family. Though we though we can have food in the food court, i proposed that to sit in castle Barbeque. Now I have been to many Barbeque style restaurants in India and abroad. But this place is the worst.
Staff service was poor. My son do not eat meat we went for vegitarian option and most of the time paneer was sent to us was undercooked. He literally left the plat and did not eat anything and said he has stomach problems. To overcome this I asked for some soft drink. First drink has something in it, so we returned it.
Now coming to non veg food experience. Starters were below average. Chicken was dry, mutton starts were missing from menu. Fish was average. The worst part is that there was no dip platter serve to us intially when starters arrived. I had to request some one to get me that.
I even ordered a drink for my self and they generally charge 500 for a drink but to my surprise in that cost they were serving magic moments in vodka as baseline. There menu did not mention which alchole is being servered as base alcohol and no offer was given to move to something worklth drinkable like absolute or grey goose.
Now coming to main course. Funny part I requested some one to bring a plat of non veg main course as I was about to have my drink and after 15 minute some one came with some more starters. Through out dinning there were no spoon offered to us. Breads basket did not had any thing special.
Even sweets were cheap quality. As I tried to walk out of the place I requested my check for payment. I had to wait 39 minutes just to get a bill as staff were occupied else where.
Now the one star I gave to the site because of one good gesture shown by one of the floor representative when I told that it is our 14 anniversary dinner they were kind(pity) and brought a small cake and took some pictures.
The other good thing was live singing. Our poor experience did not turn out to be worse.
We will be going again to visit this mall as we need to collect stuff from hamsley but my son clearly said that we will never going to eat at this place.
Also one thing , this poor service...
