Our family has been your Customers since ages whether in Def Col or now at GK2 Recently on 16th Sat we ordered a Gluten Free Cake 1.5 Kg to be collected on Sunday. The Cake we recd was , your staff, said without Icing as we had not specifically mentioned. I have been getting Gluten free Cakes from you and nobody ever asked if we wanted Icing or not and frankly I didn't know the difference till now. we were never asked before and neither this time. The Cake was DRY NO TASTE and a complete disaster. We had overseas guests and they were shocked and took pictures which they wanted tp post on Facebook which I requested them not to do so as it would go International. We had to throw away the Cake in the Dustbin. It was not even fit to give to the Kudewala. Earlier a couple of months back when we ordered a 1 kg Gluten free Cake you staff tried to pass of an Ordinary Cake stating that we never Ordered a Gluten free. When pressed they admitted that they forgot to Order so we reordered and had to deliver ourselves to our daughter in Civil Lines, needless to say that the normal Cake we also bought for other guests. I ordered a fondant cake for my daughter's third birthday giving details of the design over an email and also visiting their GK outlet and having a face-to-face discussion. I followed up with a phone call the day before the delivery to ensure everything was on track. At the time of the delivery I was shocked to find the horrendous design, the lack of finesse and scale and proportion of the design! Some of the design elements were already falling apart!

I refused to take delivery of the same (extremely unfortunate as we had planned the birthday on the same theme, books) though the staff tried to convince me and offer me an alternate time which was not possible to accept on the day of the event! I picked up an alternate 50-50 cake (half chocolate truffle and half fruit cake) which was average in taste.

However, I must compliment them for their plum cakes. They are quite good. But never again Defence Bakery for fondant cake or anything with customised design! Extremely...

I had asked for delivery of 3 packs chicken sandwiches which as per the website or past experience were 2 in a pck.but to my utter dismay only 3 pcs came in a pack instead of 6pcs.on calling up the restaurant the manager couldn't understand what i was saying till i shared the bill details..then also he said due to some glitch he wasn't aware that 2 sandwiches come in a pack.we have been ordering with the defence colony n panchsheel outlets..but never such a problem occurred.this actually was the cherry on top coz the delivery did not happen for 2 hours.only after i called them they understood that they had slipped up.
