I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Gyan's Restaurant, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst meals of my life. From the moment I walked in, the place reeked of stale air and seemed to have more grease on the floors than on the grill. The decor looked like it hadn't been updated since the '90s, and the dim lighting made it feel like I was eating in a cave.
We were seated at a table that was sticky, and the silverware was smeared with something I didn’t want to identify. The menu was all over the place, with dishes that had no real connection to each other, as if the chef couldn't decide on a theme. I ordered the "signature" dish, hoping for something memorable. What I got was a sad, flavorless mess that seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The chicken was dry, the vegetables were soggy, and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can.
The service was worse than the food. The waiter was disinterested, barely acknowledged us, and seemed more focused on his phone than taking our order. When we asked for a drink refill, we were met with a gruff “I’ll be right back” — which never happened. The food arrived cold, and when I asked for a replacement, I was met with eye-rolls and a sarcastic, "It’s not our fault."
By the time the check arrived, I honestly considered just walking out. The prices were absurd for the lack of quality, and the experience was so unpleasant, I felt like I needed a shower afterward. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid it at all costs unless you want to experience truly terrible food, service, and atmosphere.
