House of Tequila — Restaurant in Delhi

My recent visit to house of tequila was, without exaggeration, the worst dining experience I've had in years. From the moment we walked in, a sense of disarray permeated the air, and it only spiraled downwards from there. The ambiance was less "cozy" and more "chaotic." Tables were left uncleared, the floor was visibly dirty, and the lighting was so dim I half-expected to be handed a flashlight with the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was sticky and worn, and many items listed were "unavailable" according to our server. Our server, bless their heart, seemed utterly overwhelmed and under-trained. Orders were mixed up, drinks were forgotten, and simple requests like extra chopsticks felt like monumental tasks. The wait for our food was excruciatingly long, despite the restaurant being far from full. We're talking 45 minutes for appetizers and well over an hour for our main courses. And then, the food itself. Oh, the food. The "crispy" chicken tikka were limp and greasy, tasting suspiciously like they'd been reheated multiple times. My "medium-rare" steak arrived well-done and chewy, drowned in a sauce that tasted like it came straight from a can. My dining companion's pasta dish was bland, overcooked, and served lukewarm. It was clear that quality ingredients and culinary care were not priorities here. Every dish felt like a profound disappointment, a testament to neglect in the kitchen. To add insult to injury, the prices were utterly disproportionate to the quality of the food and service. We paid premium prices for what felt like budget-level, poorly executed cafeteria food. Leaving house of tequila I felt a distinct sense of regret – not just for the money spent, but for the wasted evening. I rarely write scathing reviews, but this experience warrants a strong warning. Mixed Experience at House of Taquila – Great Food, But Disappointing Offer Handling

I recently visited House of Taquila and booked my table through Swiggy Dineout, which clearly mentioned a 50% discount offer. However, after enjoying my dinner, I was told the offer would not be honored, and instead, they gave only a 25% in-house discount. This was not what I was promised and felt very misleading and embarrassing at the end of the meal.

What I Liked:

🍽️ Delicious Food: The food was genuinely good. Everything I ordered was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared.

🍹 Nice Ambience: The place has a vibrant vibe – perfect for casual dining or a night out with friends.

What Disappointed Me:

❌ Offer Miscommunication: Denying a confirmed offer after dining was highly unprofessional. It affected the overall experience.

😕 Poor Coordination: The staff seemed unaware or not properly informed about the Swiggy Dineout offer, which shouldn’t happen in such a reputed place.

Overall Verdict: While the food and atmosphere were great, the way they handled the Swiggy Dineout offer was disappointing. I hope they improve their communication and respect third-party booking offers...

Don't get INFLUENCED by Google Ratings -

We got influenced with Ratings and then We Went here by prior booking and the staff didn't behaved well (Specially the girl right at the front Desk ~ Pic attached) and floor staff didn't offer us appropriate seating.

There is no proper record of the bookings that are being made.(Not only saying these words for us but consider it on behalf of many guests who were already sitting and having food, were consistently being poked by the Staff about their Bookings) (( *You can check other reviews as well. I wish I would have checked Before. ))

Many items including Chineese items were not available.

We ordered Pasta and it wasn't upto the Mark. Portion Size is Tooo Less for the price they are charging.

Floor staff is absolutely non cooperative.

Lots of Mosquitoes everywhere.
