If you ask me to describe our experience at this restaurant in one word, I would say it was absolutely 'pathetic'! What do you get when you combine below average food and terrible customer service? An experience that is way below par at this restauranf with a deceptively fancy name!

When we got there, we were excited to try this new restaurant which looked quite appealing from the outside. However, once we were seated, our expectations began to crumble progressively. When they came to take the order, we clearly said at least a couple of times, that we wanted Dahi Kabab as a starter, followed by either a Pizza or a Pasta. They were in a hurry to take both the orders as it was approaching their closing time, but we asked them to take the Dahi Kabab order first, while we decided on the main course. After a few minutes, we decided to order Pasta Arabiatta, and clearly told them to get the Dahi Kabab in the meantime. After about 10-15 minutes, when there were no signs of the starter, we asked for it and guess what - they said that we hadn't ordered it at all! When we expressed surprise, the waiter who took the order said that we may have instructed one of the other waiters to get it! When we confirmed that it was indeed him, he denied it outright and said he would bring the Pasta first because it was ready, and then get the Dahi Kabab later! Imagine, perhaps he thought we could have the starter AFTER the main course, perhaps as dessert! By then we were so hungry and so terribly cheesed off, that we decided to skip the starter that was never made!

Next came the Arabiatta Pasta - at first glance, I was taken aback at the portion size. Clearly, it wouldn't suffice even for one! Placed on the side was the driest, most uninviting bread that I had ever seen; what's more??? It had a dry and burnt crumb too! Just one teeny weeny accompaniment to what looked like half a plate of Pasta! When we asked for one more piece of bread, they refused outright, saying with conviction that the dish comes with only one piece of bread and they would not be able to give us an extra piece! That hit us like a bullet on a sore that was already smarting from the bad experiece we'd had until then!

The next hard blow that we got was when we tasted the pasta - gosh, it was, by far, the most inauthentic Pasta I have ever had! It was neither creamy nor cheesy and far from rich and filling! It had the saddest and most local 'sauce' which tasted more like a desi tadka than a signature Italian flavoiur! There was barely any cheese too - just a few very measly strings of it, which were neither very visible nor palpable in terms of flavour!

Earlier, when we were contemplating ordering a Pizza, it took 2 waiters to explain what veggies are included in the topping, because they weren't sure of it themselves! They even had to cross-check with the chef, based on our recommedation! Also, when we asked if they could replace the mushrooms with some other veggies, they refused. That coupled with the scrimping on the extra bread, made it obvious that they are very rigid and not customer-centric at all! Plus, they don't take ownership when they goof-up and instead, end up getting defensive. They did not apologize even once!

At the end of a meal comprising of what seemed like half a dish, we paid a bill of Rs.600 change, and left with a stomach that was less than half-filled, and a mind that decided never to go back again to that restaurant. Honestly, it lacks the class and finesse of a fine-dining place, although it has inflated prices that don't give you half the quality, quantity or experience that one would expect as a customer! Unsurprisingly, there were only 2 other sets of customers (6 people excluding 2 of us) in the entire restaurant; if that is the scene on a Saturday night, it speaks volumes about the popularity of the restaurant or rather, the complete lack of it!

We left the restaurant ruing over the fact that we shouldn't have chosen this place over The Big Chill which is a class apart and a number of notches above IIlios! There is...

If you’re looking to experience summer on a plate, Ilios in Greater Kailash is the place to be! I recently visited this charming spot to try their much-talked-about Mango Mania menu, and it was every bit as delightful as it sounds.

From the moment you step in, Ilios welcomes you with a beautiful Mediterranean-inspired ambiance — whitewashed walls, earthy textures, and just the right pop of color. It’s cozy yet breezy, making it perfect for a lazy afternoon lunch or a sunset dinner date. The natural light, tasteful decor, and laid-back vibe instantly transport you to a European holiday.

Each dish was creative, vibrant, and infused with just the right amount of mango magic

What I loved most was how they managed to highlight mango in both savory and sweet dishes without going overboard — the balance was spot-on.

Overall, Ilios is a true gem in the heart of GK. Whether you’re going for the Mango Mania menu or just to enjoy a relaxed meal in a serene setting, this place delivers both great food and...

One of the most Instagrammable cafes in Delhi! Visited Ilios Cafe in Greater Kailash and had a wonderful experience. The vibe is aesthetic and calming perfect for a date, brunch, or just catching up with friends. We tried quite a few dishes and everything was delicious: • White sauce pasta (creamy and well-balanced) • Hakka noodles & Tangra-style chilli paneer (full of flavour with the right spice kick) • Burrata al pesto pizza (fresh and unique) • Veg yellow curry dimsums (a surprising and tasty twist!) Also tried a few cocktails and shakes all were beautifully presented and refreshing. The service was smooth and the staff was courteous. Definitely a must-visit if you’re into good food, great ambiance, and Instagram-worthy corners!
