My recent experience at a certain restaurant left me fuming with frustration and disappointment. The moment we entered the establishment, the pungent scent of onions overwhelmed the air. To my disbelief, the kitchen staff was chopping onions openly, intentionally causing tears to well up in the eyes of every diner present. It was an unnecessary and unpleasant assault on the senses, making it clear that this restaurant had little regard for the comfort of its customers.
To make matters worse, the service we received was shockingly poor. After being seated at a table, we patiently waited for a server to approach us and take our orders. However, it seemed as though we had become invisible. Ten long minutes passed, and despite our attempts to catch the attention of a staff member, we were ignored. In our frustration, we decided to call upon the manager for assistance, hoping for a resolution. Regrettably, our pleas fell on deaf ears as the manager failed to respond to our request for attention.
As we left the restaurant, disheartened and appalled by the experience, we sought out the owner to voice our dissatisfaction. However, our attempt to engage in a dialogue with the owner proved futile. Not only did the owner show a complete lack of responsiveness, but they also displayed a shocking indifference towards our complaints about the abysmal service we had endured. It was evident that the owner had no intention of taking any action against their negligent staff, leaving us feeling utterly disregarded and disrespected as paying customers.
Overall, this entire experience exemplified a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and a lack of professionalism on the part of the restaurant's management and staff. Such a blatant display of insensitivity and poor service is wholly unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of the...

I’ve been a loyal customer of Javed Famous Nihari main branch at Batla House Zakir Nagar for years. I’ve eaten there dozens of times and always trusted their food and service.
But yesterday, I made the biggest mistake by visiting their 40 Foota Shaheen Bagh branch (two-storey) because the main branch was busy. And what happened there is straight up FRAUD.
👇 Here’s how they SCAM you on the ground floor:
First, if you want to order Nihari, Paya, or Qorma — they force you to order a chicken dish first, otherwise they rudely say, “Go upstairs!” Who does that?
Second, they don’t give any GST bill — just a handwritten chhota slip with wrong roti counts.
Third, they overcharge ₹50 extra per item — Nihari, Paya, Qorma are ₹250 on the menu, but they billed ₹300.
Fourth, Chicken Achari is ₹250 on their own menu, but they charged ₹300. When I questioned it, the cashier casually said “menu is outdated” and started shouting at his own staff. Seriously?!
🤯 So basically, if you sit on the ground floor:
You’re forced to order extra,
You’re overcharged,
You get no proper bill,
And they treat you like you’re doing them a favor by eating there.
❌ This is not “Javed Famous Nihari” service. This is SCAM Famous Nihari on the ground floor.
🔥 To the Owner: Your name was built on trust and taste. Don’t let these ground floor people destroy your legacy in minutes.
🚫 To Everyone Else: Avoid the ground floor of 40 Foota Shaheen Bagh Javed Nihari like the plague. If you love Javed Nihari, go to the main branch or at least the first floor here. The ground floor is a total rip-off.
