Dear owner please note the following and please take action : I had come to your place more than 15+ times, largely last year on every occasion and treats to everyone.
This year I returned to India and I was so excited to take them to my favourite place (La Affair). But it turned out horrible for all of us.
I have to believe the staff has totally changed from last year. This new staff is horrible. Earlier there were women and men who’d constantly be looking towards the table to see if we need something or order something etc. But this time we literally had to wait so many times for anyone to be visible to us to call for order. They didn’t even serve water without us asking them after half an hour. Then too just brought water bottle with glass in a hasty manner and went away without serving. AND MIND YOU, except us there were a total of two other small tables customers. So it’s not like they were slumped with work. I remember last year they’d even go ahead with serving food, I distinctly remember this sweet Northeastern lady. It used to feel like a 5-Star level dining experience. Service used to be the best thing, now it’s nonexistent. I tipped some staff too last year but now I wish the new staff gets fired.
All they focussed on was making the atmosphere feel low-class with extremely LOUD music in the afternoon, that too non-soothing bad taste-music. This seemed to be the only thing they were indulged in doing—that too did horribly bad.
I had in mind that even if the current staff may have gone bad but the food would still be nice. I had ordered almost the entire menu in totality across different visits last year. Was a staunch fan of sizzlers and platters. Now I think even the chef may have changed. It just didn’t taste as good, not bad though, but not like before. Same goes for Fruit Sangria and Pina Colada. And staff did wonders again—didn’t give green chutney to go with tandoori items in the Celebration sizzler/platter, and didn’t give schezwan chutney for chinese. BOTH OF WHICH WE USED TO GET LAST YEAR I REMEMBER SO GOOD. In peri peri fries they missed out on giving the dip, which we used to get as well! We had to numerous times ask the staff to get us those. It just felt they didn’t want to do anything.
All the valets went on lunch together and we had to get into a hassle of 15-20 minutes to park ourselves—even though we used to tip valets...
Read moreLa Affairs is truly a remarkable place to visit, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The moment I stepped in, I was instantly impressed by the fabulous ambience. The café feels incredibly luxurious, with its elegant décor, cozy seating arrangements, and overall classy vibe. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, whether you're there for a casual meal or a special outing.
I started my meal with their momos, and I must say, they were absolutely delicious. The momos were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a delight, and they were cooked to perfection. After that, I tried the non-veg sizzler, which was equally impressive. The sizzler was well-prepared, with a great balance of flavors and textures. The meat was tender, and the accompanying sides complemented the dish perfectly.
For drinks, I opted for a Virgin Piña Colada and a Virgin Sangria. While both were refreshing, the Sangria stood out with its amazing flavor. It had the right balance of sweetness and fruitiness, making it a perfect choice to go with my meal. The drinks added an extra touch of refreshment to the overall dining experience.
In terms of service, the staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was taken care of. The overall vibe of La Affairs is exactly what one looks for in a high-end café – luxurious, yet comfortable.
All in all, my experience at La Affairs was spot on. From the food and drinks to the ambience and service, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this café to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It's a place where you can truly relax and enjoy great food in a...

We had dinner. The total number of guests including us was 6. We decided to go for the non-veg menu. There was no Barbeque because of the pollution restrictions which was understandable. We were ok with it.
The starters were good. The service was quick. Some of the items were not fresh. They were microwaved. The variety was ok. The menu had no significance at all. It was more like ‘we have what we have’.
Beyond this point it all went down hill. We had to wait for an hour for the main course and desserts. They insisted on serving soup to gain some more time for preparing dinner. We agreed. The soup was cold. Upon informing them, they microwaved the soup and again served us the same bowls. It was barely lukewarm.
There was no non-veg menu in dinner despite paying for it. It was all vegetarian. They were serving the same food which was being served in the banquet hall downstairs. So dinner was only served post 9pm because apparently that is the time dinner usually starts in banquet hall. (PS: It is not a guess. We were informed about this by one of the staff).
Desserts were equally bad with the actual items much less than once’s mentioned in the menu.
The staff was polite but helpless. It felt as if management decisions had been forced on them to operate under such conditions.
Overall it was not at all worth the money that we ended up paying. It was not a good experience. Would not recommend this...
