I visited Manohar Dhaba two days ago, and it was an absolute delight! Located in the heart of Chandni Chowk, this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic street food.
Food (5/5)
Their Japani Samosa is the star of the show! Unlike regular samosas, these have multiple crispy layers, making them incredibly crunchy and unique. Paired with their flavorful pindi chhole, mint chutney, and lauki (bottle gourd) pickle, the combination is just perfect. The thali was also delicious, with rich, well-spiced gravies that reminded me of true North Indian flavors.
Ambience (4/5)
Itâs a typical Old Delhi-style dhaba, so donât expect a fancy setup. The seating is simple, and itâs usually packed, but thatâs part of the charm. Watching the Japani Samosas being fried fresh adds to the experience!
Service (5/5)
The staff was quick and efficient. Even though the place was crowded, we got our food within minutes.
Pricing (5/5)
Extremely affordable! A full meal here costs way less than what youâd pay at high-end restaurants, but the taste is unbeatable.
Final Verdict
If youâre in Chandni Chowk, Manohar Dhaba is a must-visit. Whether youâre a local or a tourist, their Japani Samosa and chhole are worth trying. Iâm definitely coming...

2024: I visited this place in college days that day I tried Chole Bhature and I again visited this place yesterday, again I tried chole bhature.
Chole Bhature are very tasty especially chole and at reasonable price you can surely try that.
Last time I did not feel like eating Japani Samosa and this time it's stock was over. Yes when I visited there around 6:00 PM except Chole Bhature all other items were sold.
[EDIT PART] : This time I tried Japani Samosa, that pattie tasted good but now I have detected 2 star âď¸ for 2 reasons
We gave them a 100 rupee note our bill was of 55, staff was like ek cold drink lelo humpe khule nahi hai. Are you even serious. Owner had 50 rupees and I ask him I will upi 5 rupees but he literally refused on my face, he was also like cold drink lelo after buying a thumb up our bill was 75 and he then gave us 25 rupees.
No upi payment option here which caused first problem.
Note:- Bhature were made earlier they get it fried again as per order, You will feel strong taste of Ajinomote...
Read moreA true case of average dish getting special attention - Japani Samosa. Let me break it down to basics - The three times price of Japani Samosa is because of its excessive marketing. If you want to dine, then the feel is rustic, goes with chandni Chowk but hardly anything spent by the owner to make it comfortable or hygienic. If you wish to eat in your comfort zone, then be careful of "additional charges". Chana packed with samosa will always be less and extra chana for packing will cost you equal to one plate of this japani samosa without the samosa. There are additional packing charges as well. You can find better and hygienic options for your taste buds as you walk down the lanes of...
