Matka Peer Golden Biryani — Restaurant in Delhi

After all I had known about the delicious biryanis you can find and just to let you all know my father used to get us the same from matka peer. So because this was the first place on the way, and me believing so that all places would have the same taste of that amazing mutton biryani i had volunteered to by 750 gms of mutton biryani and 1/2 plate of mutton korma for my family. I was told to wait for 20 minutes for the biryani to get prepared so I did that and tried their mutton kebab over their which were way to dry and they dare to call them galoti kebab. I thought maybe they were just not aware of the galawati kebab concept of dry pumpkin to make the meat tender so i ignored my experience and proceeded with collecting my takeaway biryani and korma that costed me 1400 bucks. I was at that time happy to pay them the money because i knew that the biryani over here is legic and cannot go wrong ever because my dad used to get us that and it was premium wuality meat with delicious biryani. I was lucky to taste the biryani firsthand at home before anyone could have made their plates. The mutton meats i saw. They legit had HAIRS on them. Not even kidding. I felt devastated! I went all the way to mathura road to buy such disgusting food. I love food. I love biryani. Just imagine you eating and suddenly realising that the mutton was cooked in such a way that they didn't even remove the hair out of the goat. People worry about chef's hair on food. I would highly urge people to stop eating from this venue. I don't know what health issues you'll bring at your home. Because of this place i am never gonna visit matka peer again because i am scared to have their food. This place should close as soon as possible. I hope people read my review and...

Ordered and Cancelled.... Reason: Person who was supposed to cook and serve was doing itching in his waist and started preparing without washing hands. Moreover Nobody sitting there advised him to wash hands even after my multiple requests. I was forced to cancel my order because getting hospitalized due to cholera or any other kind of food poisoning is not a good option for me.

Avoid this place and go for a place which offers better hygiene.

Prompt Reply to Critical review is appreciated but I think owner or the person managing this food Joint need to Visit at a Good Eye Clinic and need to install a good quality CCTV camera system at his place so that he can have a clear view.

This place near matka peer dargah had many expectations but it failed to meet them in a grandiose manner. The biryani rice was undercooked and lacked many discernable flavours. In the ended it ended up being very bland. Delhi is famous for its mughlai cuisine but this place is not one of them. There are many good places around here so please avoid this place. the service and atmosphere was nothing to write home...
