No doubt, It provide one of best authentic hyderabadi biryani, I had yet in delhi but POOR SERVICE and Misleading Behavior of OWNERS. I have been a customer of this place since 2015(7years), but now I will prefer any other low budget, less in taste but better in service place over this.
But sometimes feels like being exploited with price. e.g Fortnight ago, I was charged for disposable glasses for drinking water, cold drinks. It was my first such encounter. Although they had their own glass, but without any knowledge they provided us disposable and also charged a small amount for it. 7 glasses= 10rs. , It was quite annoying actually. At another instance; their verbally charged amount after you had your food and the written bill amount(on asking for bill) differs by 20/30rs. at times.
Although it's not big a matter of 20-30rs., but still feels like being exploited
I remember paying , 400 to 450rs. too earlier few years back on festive days
Their original cost used to be 260rs.or 280rs. now i guess, they have...
Read moreWe visited Angaar on an early Saturday evening and ordered the family pack Chicken Biryani, that comes with Chicken 65 in it. It tasted well, albeit a little too salty. The Biryani amount was more than enough for 2 people, and just right for 3 people(with normal appetite). I was expecting more from a place that seemingly has one of the best biryanis in NCR.
It wasn’t busy when we went(around 5:30pm). The seating area isn’t too huge, it’s around 6-7 tables, so I can imagine it might get busy during lunch and dinner hours. We also got a small Thums up and a bottle of water. In total, it cost us 700 rupees. They serve gravy, raita, green chutney and chopped onions with the Biryani. I might be back here to try their famous kaju paneer.
Angaar is nice for an experience, but I’ll scout for better Biryani places going forward. It’s on the main road, so Angaar is...
Read moreAn unassuming little place located in crowded Karol Bagh. Unless you are looking for it, you are sure to miss it. Very basic and functional sitting arrangements with four tables and a few chairs. Could be cleaner. The food is spicy even to the Indian palate. Some dishes can be spicy to the extent that they do not have any other defining flavor. Having said that, the food is consistently good. The biryani is really good, but like all other dishes at the establishment is on the spicier side. Keep to the traditional hyderabad dishes as the north Indian dishes are prepared in a style you might not be used to. The soft spoken fellow who takes your order also serves you. Pay cash to settle you bill as any plastic money will add 6%...
