My Culinary Adventure at Paparizza: A Slice of Heaven in Kailash Colony Market
A few days ago, I heard about Paparizza opening its doors in Kailash Colony Market, Greater Kailash-1, Delhi. I knew I had to pay a visit and experience their renowned Neapolitan and New York style pizzas for myself.
Walking into Paparizza, I was immediately struck by the lively atmosphere and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pizzas wafting through the air. The first outlet in Civil Lines had been a thumping success, and I was eager to see what this new location had to offer.
I wasted no time in checking the menu, and with so many tempting options to choose from, I decided to dive right in and sample a variety of dishes. First up was the Neapolitan Pizza, a classic Italian delight topped with fresh buffalo mozzarella, pork pepperoni, and bacon, aptly named "Oink Oink." Each bite was a perfect harmony of flavors, with the tanginess of the tomato sauce complementing the richness of the cheeses and meats.
Next, I indulged in the New York Style Pizza loaded with barbecue chicken and jalapenos, a combination that never fails to satisfy my cravings for something savory and spicy. The crust was thin and crispy, providing the ideal base for the generous toppings that adorned each slice.
Moving on to the pasta selection, I couldn't resist trying the Aglio e Olio, a simple yet satisfying dish of spaghetti tossed in olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, chili flakes, and oregano. The flavors were robust and comforting, reminiscent of a homemade meal enjoyed in the heart of Italy.
To wash it all down, I opted for a couple of mocktails to refresh my palate. The Tamarind Bay, with its delightful twist of tamarind and cranberry topped with lime juice, was a tangy and refreshing treat. Meanwhile, the Basil & Orange Mojito offered a unique combination of flavors, with the aromatic basil perfectly complementing the zesty orange.
As I savored the last bite of my meal and reflected on my maiden visit to Paparizza, I couldn't help but be impressed by the quality of the food and the warmth of the hospitality. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or simply looking for a delicious dining experience, Paparizza is definitely worth a visit. With its authentic Italian flavors and inviting ambiance, it's no wonder that this restaurant has quickly become a favorite among Delhi's foodies. I, for one, can't wait to come back for another...
Read moreHad taken kids for a pizza treat. Had heard good things. But this is how poor service can make you not wanting to go back to a place.
The manager for some reason insisted on taking our order. He could see we were with a hungry 3 year old and two older kids under 13.
He took our order with just saying our pizza takes 30 minutes. To which I was like that's fine get us some fries and drinks and we can manage 30 minutes.
Then after 40 odd minutes the guy came and told us that actually there is a problem with our oven we were trying to fix it but it's not happening. Try our pasta!
Now that's totally fine had he warned us when we ordered that they had been having trouble with their oven. We wouldn't have got our hopes up!
The manager had a very casual attitude as in He couldn't really care. I asked for the bill and left for big chill. What really was insane was for a restaurant in east of Kailash to charge 1500! For 2 fresh lime sodas and two portions of fries and a scoop of ice cream 🤣
I guess price doesn't matter when you pay for a whole meal. But when you get short changed and pay 1500 for nothing man that hurts!
Overall am sure there pizza's might still be good. Buy they need their manager to manage...
Read moreAbsolutely pathetic experience at the Kailash Colony outlet. If you're even thinking of dining here—DON'T. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. Ordered garlic bread and what landed on our table was a piece of charcoal. Burnt. Inedible. Then came the wait for the pizza—an hour. And guess what? After all that time, they had the nerve to bring us the wrong pizza.
When we pointed it out, the staff (who clearly skipped every hospitality training ever) had the gall to argue with us—acting like we were the confused ones. Missing oyster mushrooms? “Seasonal,” they said. Missing truffle oil? Not their problem. The arrogance was unreal. It’s one thing to mess up an order, but to gaslight your customers on top of it? Absolutely disgraceful.
We cancelled the pizza, obviously. But here comes the kicker—they still had the audacity to slap a service charge on the bill. For what? For burning bread, wasting our time, and serving attitude instead of food?
This place is a joke. A grim reminder that some restaurants are only in it for the money, with zero respect for quality or customer experience. Never going back. And if you value your time, money, and taste buds—stay...
