Shree Rathnam Restaurant — Restaurant in Delhi

I visited Shree Rathnam for attending my brother-in-law's marriage reception. The hall at 1st floor was booked for the function. The staff and manager were humble, polite and professional. It was a nice experience. The snacks containing Paneer Tikka, Manchurian and Chilly Potatoes were tasty. The waitres were making sure that they are serving snacks to everybody with variety at regular interval of time. Dinner was also delicious with finger licking Shahi Paneer, Mix veg. Other dishes in main course were also good in taste. Butter Rotis, Butter Naan and Lachcha Paranthas were also good in taste, well cooked. Always a delight. Had Onion Dawa Dosa and Uttpam. Bill 445. Satisfaction 100%. The preparation always has that touch of freshness. The staff is small in number but big on serving you. Don't hesitate for asking second servings of sambhar or chutneys. The parking will leave you seeking for answers but the location really cannot afford valet parking. The crowds really come-in after the evening and lunch crowd is very relaxed. You will rarely be nudged to check about the time you spend on the table. The masala dosa and the uttpam are genuinely great. The place is usually very clean. The interiors are basic, not luxurious. The pricing is just about perfect. I just hope Shree Rathnam does not lose...

I visited Shree Ratnam, Jail Road with my 6-year-old child to enjoy some South Indian food, and to my absolute shock, my child noticed an insect in the food (video attached). This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one of this reputation.

When I showed it to the staff, they did not even have the decency to apologize. Instead, they were reluctant and asked me to delete the video. I repeatedly asked for their names, but no one was willing to share them. No apology, no accountability – such a shameful experience.
