Himalayan Rooftop by Namlang: A Taste of the Himalayas in Delhi Himalayan Rooftop by Namlang offers a delightful culinary journey through the majestic Himalayas. Nestled in the heart of Delhi, this restaurant provides a serene ambiance with its rooftop setting and stunning views. This rooftop restaurant also have a cafe which is on 5th floor which is very beautiful. While first 4 floor of this building is a hotel where you can stay which is also managed by this restaurant. While kost of the customers of this place were tibetan few years ago nowadays many people from south delhi vishwavidalya area are regular visitors of this area. The menu showcases a diverse range of traditional Himalayan dishes, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. From hearty curries and flavorful kebabs to aromatic biryanis and delectable momos, there's something to satisfy every palate. You can also get buff and pork dishes in this restaurant. And the staff of this restaurant are also very helpful and sweet in nature. I recently visited Himalayan Restaurant in Delhi with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The food and service left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. The first dish I tried was the chicken in Thai basil sauce. While the dish sounded promising, the taste was overwhelmingly salty, making it difficult to enjoy the flavors of the Thai basil sauce. It was as if the chef had accidentally poured an entire container of salt into the dish. Next, I ordered the steak, hoping for a better experience. However, the steak was absolutely tasteless, lacking any seasoning or flavor. It was as if the kitchen staff had forgotten to season the meat entirely. A good steak should be a showcase of flavors, but this was just a bland, unappetizing cut of meat. During our meal, we also encountered an unpleasant surprise in our drinks. A fly had found its way into one of our beverages, which was not only disgusting but also raised concerns about the restaurant's hygiene and cleanliness standards. Finally, the undercooked and hard pork ribs were the last straw. The meat was so tough that it was nearly impossible to bite into, let alone enjoy. It's clear that the kitchen staff is either inexperienced or lacks proper training in preparing dishes like these. Overall, my experience at Himalayan Restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The food was subpar, the service was lackluster, and the cleanliness was questionable. I will not be returning to this establishment and would advise others to steer clear as well. There are far better dining options available in Delhi.

Himalayan Rooftop Restaurant in Majnu Ka Tila offers a serene and laid-back dining experience with a spectacular view. Located in the heart of Delhi's Tibetan colony, this restaurant is a perfect spot for those looking to enjoy authentic Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine in a cozy rooftop setting. The food here is delightful, with traditional Tibetan dishes like thukpa, momos, and tingmo being some of the top picks. The flavors are authentic, and the portion sizes are generous. Their butter tea is also worth trying, especially if you're looking to experience something truly Himalayan. In addition to Tibetan cuisine, the menu also includes a variety of Indian and Chinese dishes, offering something for everyone. What sets this restaurant apart is its calm, rooftop ambiance. With a view overlooking the vibrant lanes of Majnu Ka Tila, it’s a great place to relax, especially in the evening. The simple yet charming decor, along with the peaceful atmosphere, makes it ideal for casual hangouts or a quiet meal after exploring the area. The prices are quite reasonable, making it a great spot for budget-friendly dining. However, service can be a bit slow during peak hours, so it’s best to visit when you’re not in a rush. Overall, Himalayan Rooftop Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Majnu Ka Tila who wants to enjoy authentic Tibetan food in a relaxed rooftop setting. The combination of good food, affordable prices, and a peaceful ambiance makes it a standout in the area.
