McDonald's — Restaurant in Dwarka

I placed an order through Swiggy from McDonald’s at approximately 12:30 AM. The preparation and delivery process was inordinately delayed, taking over an hour, which is already contrary to the expected standards of prompt service for a reputed fast-food chain. Upon receipt of the order, I discovered that the order was incomplete — the coffee I had paid for was missing. Despite the billing being done in full (under the name Chandan), the item was not delivered. While Swiggy has issued a coupon for the missing item, such a remedy does not compensate for the inconvenience, the breach of trust, or the failure of duty of care on part of both Swiggy and McDonald’s. The food was delivered, but the coffee was not included, despite it being part of the paid order. This amounts to deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and potentially qualifies as unfair trade practice, as I paid for a product that was not delivered.

While Swiggy has issued a coupon equivalent to the price of the missing item, such redressal does not substitute the actual product, nor does it absolve McDonald’s of its responsibility as the service provider. McDonald’s, as the food vendor, is expected to ensure complete and accurate fulfilment of orders. Such negligence reflects poorly on customer care and service standards. Pathetic food preparation

I had ordered 1 MC Spicy paneer, along with cold coffee and fries

Food quality: pathetic Fries were completely soggy, no crispyness at all

Cold coffee I would say was the worst till date. Too sweet, it tasted like vanilla most probably they had mixed vanilla ice cream because they ran out of milk or the machine broke down. I preferred to have water along with my burger rather than the cold coffee

Burger was ok but the crunchy exterior of the paneer patty turned soggy as there was delay in delivery. I had placed the above mentioned order on Swiggyand it took 55 mins to deliver whereas it showed deliver time 34 mins only. So please check where did the delay happen

McDonald's has been no less than a revolution to the fast food industry. With standardised recipes around the globe, quality is guaranteed in every bite they serve. They have managed to create a menu that caters to everybody; be it family gatherings, students looking for an outing, or just about anyone looking for a quick hunger-buster.

Definitely the brand has gained immense faith within the customers but this particular Outlet seems ill maintained. The AC here is not really effective, the sitting arrangements are gone for a toss, the ordering zone is not maintained in a way that customers can be in a queue. Its a mess really in summers.
