A warm dining experience at Mint Restaurant in Dwarka
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mint Restaurant in Dwarka, and I must say that the experience was quite delightful. This pure vegetarian establishment offers a welcoming ambience and a diverse menu with unique preparations. While the outside entrance could use some improvement, the interior of the restaurant exudes a pleasant atmosphere. Moreover, the staff, particularly the manager, provided exceptional hospitality throughout our visit. Overall, Mint Restaurant offers a commendable dining experience that I would highly recommend to fellow food enthusiasts.
Ambience: The ambience at Mint Restaurant is certainly a highlight. The interior decor is tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests. The restaurant's attention to detail is evident, with comfortable seating arrangements and a well-designed layout that allows for a relaxed dining experience. The lighting is soft and soothing, further enhancing the overall ambiance of the establishment.
Menu and Starters: Mint Restaurant boasts an impressive menu, offering a wide variety of options for vegetarians. What sets this restaurant apart is their innovative approach to culinary preparations. The starters, in particular, were a pleasant surprise. The unique preparation styles showcased Mint's commitment to delivering a distinct culinary experience. Each dish had its own distinct flavors, skillfully combining traditional ingredients with creative twists. The starters were undoubtedly a highlight of the meal.
Soups: While the soups at Mint Restaurant were enjoyable, they fell slightly short of my expectations. Though they were flavorful, there was room for improvement in terms of consistency and depth of flavors. Nevertheless, they still provided a decent start to the meal.
Main Course: The main course at Mint Restaurant truly shone, offering a range of delectable options. We opted for the classic Dal Makhni, Paneer Do Pyaza, and Kashmiri Dum Aloo. Each dish was expertly prepared, and the flavors were exceptional. The dal was rich and creamy, the paneer was tender and well-marinated, and the dum aloo was bursting with aromatic spices. These dishes showcased the culinary prowess of the chefs at Mint Restaurant, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.
Accompaniments: No Indian meal is complete without the perfect bread, and Mint Restaurant did not disappoint. The Garlic Naan deserves special mention as it was flawlessly executed. The naan was soft, with just the right amount of garlic flavor, providing an excellent accompaniment to the main course. The restaurant's commitment to maintaining quality extended to their bread offerings as well.
Price quotient: Considering the quality of the food, the pleasant ambience, and the exemplary service, Mint Restaurant offers excellent value for money. Our bill of 3200 rupees for a party of 7 was reasonable, considering the enjoyable dining...
Read moreWe had an absolutely awful experience yesterday at this specific location and won't suggest others who wanna maintain their privacy. We had a family meeting and since the time we entered and uptil we walked out every single staff including manager's on floor was highly interested into our private talks or communication. Specially, the Sardarji and a guy in white shirt, I don't know if he's an owner, Manager or what, was instigating his fellow staff to listen 👂 our private conversations. They were standing just a few steps away and were listening and watching us like a spectator. No doubt when we were heading out they made some remarks and were advising us. I simply wanna approach the owner to instantly intervene into this matter and properly train and coach their staff as this is simply not gonna be appreciated by anyone and that could be one of the reason why the business is declining or why the entire restaurant is empty.
As a hospitality professional, i would advice not to breach your guests privacy at any cost, try to make a distance and don't hang around without a cause, people simply need some space which you guys need to understand.
Food and Service : I asked for a salted fresh lime soda and got it Plain. It was absolutely flat. Didn't follow up with staff about it. Ordered cold coffee which was brutally sweet like hell and asked to correct it but all in vain.
Finally, asked them to correct the invoice for the beverage which has not been consumed and they said the bill has already been generated.
Even the restaurant was entirely empty, we felt like we have been overheard and forced to move out asap after about 45min.
Finally, we won't come back cause it's the sensitive matter of your...
Read moreThe worst place to visit ever.. We had special guests for the afternoon snacks and with prior intimation to the staff regarding our special guests we went there... But the staff is pathetic... Despite instructing them continuously, they still disobeyed our instructions and served the snacks even before serving the lemonade. There was no other family in the whole restaurant, despite that, they almost snatched the tea sausers when my father was still taking tea and had the cup in his hand.... The guests therefore had to hurridly gulp the tea...instaed of drinking it... The snacks were served in the most untrained and pathetic manner. The roadside chhotu if any shop still has 1000 times better serving manner and style . the staff is sooo damn rude when we complaint the manager about this sort of table abuse that he started fighting with my maternal grandfather there only. This restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with the most untrained, abusive and pathetic staff.... It was on a whole the worst experience of any sort of eating joint we have...
