Read moreEDIT: 14th Sept 2024 was the 3rd & certainly last time I ever visited here. This restaurant manages to attract too much crowd based on paid youtube promotions. Owner pays youtubers to make fake videos praising their amazing service but in actual, its the worst ever service I ever received in my 25 years of culinary experience.
There were at least 100-120 people in the store.. randomly running here & there. Thanks to buffet format, no one was at their chairs.. people were shouting on clueless waiters, getting restless after waiting for 30-40 min for just roti or a glass of water. Some people were screaming at manager who was just shamelessly smiling - saying if 100+ people can turn up to see this chaos, why should he worry about service. Half of the food buckets were empty and no one had time to refill. I literally had to talk in degrading language for a glass of water after asking at least 5-6 waiters including manager & waiting for 30-35 min.
I see some frustrated people knocking the kitchen door to abuse their cook.. two customers even entered into their kitchen to get a serving spoon. I never ever saw such chaos & stampede-like situation. The manager is a literally shameless guy who keeps smiling no matter what customers say on his face - because he knows he'll keep getting crowd via his fake youtube promotional videos.
This restaurant is a disaster and must shut down. They have no right to ruin customer's evening. Their buffet price has been increased to 499 + GST. Parking is road side and depends...
Read moreI recently visited Handi Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the food to the service, everything fell short of even basic standards.Let's start with the service. Not only was it slow, but the staff also seemed disinterested and unresponsive. When I tried to provide feedback on the food, they didn't take it seriously and brushed it off without any consideration. It was evident that they lacked the willingness to improve or address customer concerns. Now, coming to the food itself, it was a letdown on multiple levels. The chicken dishes were notably stale and poorly cooked, leaving a bad taste in the mouth. The gravy, which should have been a highlight, was watery and lacked any depth of flavor. Even the vegetarian options were disappointing, with poorly seasoned dishes that lacked any real taste or appeal. To sum it up, my experience at Handi Restaurant was far from satisfactory. The lack of attention to food quality, unresponsive service, and overall disappointing taste make it a place I wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a decent...
