It’s been 3 years since I had read about this place and I have wanted to visit it eagerly. I reached here once during lockdown when they were renovating. The family was so so kind even during that time though they weren’t serving food. And so, I hate to say this but the food taste was that bad. I tried the local specialty - vindaloo and it didn’t taste anything like they would make in Goa. Couldn’t taste the vinegar, just loads and loads of onions and cinnamon. There were exact 4 smalllll pieces of meat in a dish of 350 Rs. I want to give a benefit of doubt to Aunty or Uncle who I know may be wonderful cooks but handing over to the cooks with no or little supervision has done this to many places at Goa. Located just jut beside the main Candolim beach entrance, this shack offers great food and atmosphere in both day and evening times. If you are looking to relax by the beach then visit during day time, but beware that during evening this place is buzzing with loud music from nearby shacks. So visit in evening if you are in party mode. This shack also has a collection of English football kits and scarfs. As for the food really enjoyed the fried rice and steak there.
