Coast Cafe — Restaurant in Goa

I had taken a beachside relaxing bed along with a towel. Shockingly, one of the extremely rude and arrogant waiters handed me a used, filthy towel, insisting it had been washed. It reeked of foul odor and was clearly unwashed and unhygienic. Disgusted, I went to the billing counter to raise the issue, where another staff member casually tried to show me how the towels are supposedly washed and neatly arranged.

When I asked why I was given a stinking, used towel instead, the staff members ganged up on me and began verbally harassing me, shouting obscene and offensive language. This happened in front of my wife and child, making the situation even more humiliating and unacceptable. Despite this disgraceful behavior, I chose not to escalate the matter further for the sake of my family’s safety and dignity, and paid for the beach bed before leaving.

Beware of these foul-mouthed, arrogant individuals. Their complete lack of professionalism, hygiene, and basic decency is shocking. Avoid this place if you value your peace of mind and...

There is no option of zero star so gave 1 star. We entered the tables were extremely dirty and dusty. They were doing painting work with the front house open and guests eating. The guests were eating in all this. In the bar a waiter sprayed COCKROACH REPELLENT SPRAY on the bar counter and the whole place smelled like that, and the obvious part that there are cockroaches. On top of this the waiters were just terrible. They see the customers and then ignore even after seeing them. I doubt the waiters know how to speak basic english or hindi. The food came after like an hour of waiting, and it was so bad , we had ordered ham sandwich, non veg decker and veg sandwich... these samdwiches did not have anything in them at all.

Complete and utter waste of 720rs. beside this dirty disgusting shack there is fish hut which is great...

Popped to the Coast Cafe for lunch really wanting just a sandwich, told by the staff that they were for breakfast only and would need to order something else off the menu (more expensive).

The food we ordered was at best borderline edible, the beer was ok and the mojito was pretty poor.

As we were leaving the same waiter came out with a sandwich for someone else, so obviously not just for breakfast, they just wanted to make more money from us. I called them on what they had done, no apology they just stood there looking sheepish.

Don’t go here, the food isn’t worth being ripped off for. Neither is the atmosphere. No wonder there’s no review on Tripadvisor. Avoid this place. Also nearly £20 for a dodgy salad, veg sizzler 1 beer and 1 mojito. Crap value...
