The behaviour of the Deshu Little Italy staff, especially Mr. Mountain, was absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable. He was not only rude and unprofessional but also behaved as if he was ready to fight with us over simple requests. To make matters worse, he appeared to be intoxicated and possibly under the influence of other substances, which is shocking for someone in a service role. At one point, he even told us to leave, as if the owner has given him full authority to mistreat customers however he likes.
The staff’s attitude made us feel completely unwelcome and disrespected. It’s evident that they prioritize Israeli customers, treating them with respect while blatantly ignoring or mistreating Indian patrons. This behavior reeks of arrogance and favoritism, and it’s clear that they have taken their success for granted. We felt humiliated and deeply regret choosing this restaurant.
For a hospitality establishment, this kind of attitude is not just disappointing but outright shameful. It ruined our evening, our mood, and our overall experience. There was both indoor and outdoor seating with tables or lounge chairs on the beach front.
The menu selection was incredible, with a very impressive oreo shake. And true to its name, the pizza and pasta did not disappoint! Flavours were thick and delicious, the food was hot and came in good time. And the portions were very impressive!
