End of The World Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

You would be tempted to site here as this shack is just at the entry of Mandrem Beach, but plz AVOID this shack.

Today me and my family due to the heat felt we will take the sun beds as there were other foreigners sitting too. We ordered plain rice, Chicken masala and Fresh Lime Soda oy after confirming with the waiter what is good and if it's clean as we had a kid with us.

When the food came we found a Fly and a Human Hair in the chicken curry. When I went up to complain the owner (a lady) told there must have been flies and one fell.

Next the lime soda had some red flakes floating in it. We left it all and got up. We were about to through up.

Though initially the lady owner said we will not charge you, however when we started to leave she started asking for the Lime Soda, she said and I quote " we had made this for you" and again she said "you have problem in everything" even though we clearly showed the fly and the hair.

Attendants and waiters are nice and welcoming. Place is decent and toilets clean. Bang on the road almost like a drive in. My only vegetarian friend felt left out. The helpings not upto the mark and badly designed. Dal and veggies too small a helping and just one chapati which probably has a long way to become one. More like a chapati that set out to be a chapati and was turning into papad but knew it was not its role and decided to remain soft and bland. Pretended they had Americanos/Cappucinos when chatting on the beach. Nothing listed in the menu so queried it again. The waiter was adamant that they had a machine out the back. Brought us obvious black instant coffee and one of those sachet cappuccinos. My husband asked to see the machine but there wasn’t one.
