Fish 'N' Curries Bar & restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

The food that I would be reviewing from this restaurant would be fish thali. First and foremost I had ordered for a complete Goan rice and fish thali with is the authentic food of Goa and I’d been preferring to have this dish from the time I have been introduced to it 12 years back and I have had an amazing experience having this dish in different restaurants around goa but for the first time when a friend of mine who traveled down from cannada found this restaurant in google , we visited and had an experience which was regretful.

1. The rice was too less
2. I wanted to have the authentic rava fry fish but was given some fish which was not at all satisfying
3. In the authentic Goan rice and fish curry they serve clams but here they gave me egg Burji which is not related to fish
4. The service was pathetic
5. When asked about the dish the response was “we serve this to all our clients” which was totally arrogant.
6. Usually this dish costs around 200-300 but in this restaurant the menu shows a different price and the bill shows a different price, so readers please be aware of the fraud the restaurant is involved in.

Hope this review helps future clients who are willing to experience the authentic dish of Goa. Please beware and please be careful if ever you reach that destination to experience lunch. There are so many other beautiful places that makes you feel the complete bliss of Goa but definitely this is not a place to visit. if you don't wanna get a food poisoned and looted please help yourself and never go there ... The restaurant is absolutely horrendous and the food is even worse . We ordered fish thali looked at the menu it said 150 . We ordered 6 thali meals and they charged 3390 Rs and the fish smelled foul and it was cut into a 1/4 inch steak whatsoever it was not even consumable i felt like i might get food poisoning. Such an awful experience .

We went to a different restaurant the day before and even for king fish thali they only charged 300 per person and if you just have that whole king fish steak in that meal without rice or anything you would ve been filled. And also the fish tasted absolutely amazing and...

A small food joint with very good service. Went there twice. The roof top was decent. Wife had a throat infection. The waiter was kind enough to give her hot water. He even packed us some salt for throat gargling.

The second time we decided to sit down as they were playing some popular songs on TV. But a small group of customers took over the remote and started playing songs according to their choice. (Some very old Hindi songs - songs might be good, but not our taste, that's all). The volume was very high too. The owner did not say anything and it spoiled our mood.
