goSTOPS Lite Calangute — Hotel in Goa

goStops Goa like every other location of goStops is a great place to stay, work and enjoy. It comes with it's similar ambiance and branding that you see across the country. I was on a workacation here for 2+ weeks and would categorise the Good things and Things that should be improved for this location in particular.

Good Nice clear rooms and clean bathrooms. Well maintained Property is very close to Calangute beach. 500m walk and you are on the beach. Very close to a lot of eateries and hence multiple options available The common entertainment area is good and has it's own vibes (The woofer needs to be fixed though) In house menu has good options like Poha , coffee, Ice tea. Property has ample parking space for two-wheelers. Cars parking will be cumbersome #goodforriders #riderfriendly There is a fridge and microwave where you can keep your own stuff Ample open space with greenery to sit, work, relax and just do nothing Internet connection speed is decent 10MBPS constant. 1.5GB per day limit applies. Breaks in between at times, however was manageable for me personally, Hosts Deepak and Nikhil are awesome. Special thanks to both for taking good care. Thanks to Solman for great Ice tea :-) There are two cats at the property that will give you good company :-) You will meet a lot of friends and create memories.

Things to improve The property badly needs electricity backup. The load shedding happens during day and night and it was out for 1 full Saturday night (12 Mar) due to a fault in area. May be a one time issue however needs to be fixed for good customer experience Need more fresh food options outside of Omelette and Maggi

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hostel during my travels, and I must say that I was quite impressed with many aspects of my experience. The hostel was located in a great area and had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating and helpful in answering any questions I had about the area and the hostel itself.

One of the highlights of my stay was the affordable price of the accommodation. The hostel was a great value for the money and allowed me to stretch my budget further while still enjoying a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

However, I do have some constructive feedback regarding the cleanliness and facilities of the hostel. While the rooms were generally tidy, I did notice some areas where the cleanliness could have been improved, such as the bathroom facilities. It would be great if the staff could pay closer attention to these areas to ensure that they are maintained to a high standard.

Additionally, while the facilities were generally adequate, I feel that there is room for improvement in terms of upgrading some of the amenities, such as the bedding and lighting in the rooms and microwave. It would also be great if the hostel could provide more information about the rules and regulations for guests staying in the rooms, as this would help to ensure that everyone is aware of what is expected of them during their stay.

Overall, I had a very positive experience staying at this hostel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable accommodation. While there are some areas where improvements could be made, I believe that the hostel has a lot of potential and could become an even better place to stay with a few...

Excellent. It was my first solo trip, I decided to stay there after looking photos of ambience. -On my very first day, I was frustrated like anything because of public transport is not good in Goa, I took shower it washed away my frustration. Then I went on cruise party. After that, I went to calangute beach, I returned around 3 am. I had refreshing sleep. -On second day, I traveled alot, it washed away my fatigue with shower, for that reason only, I was able to go to party. After returning from party, I went in common area around 1 am. Nice Bollywood songs were there on projector. I don’t know when my eyes caught sleep, I woke up with 20% battery on phone and Insta perfect view in front of me😂 On third day, at around 6:30am I woke up, I traveled 150km to hit south goa beaches. I returned by 8 and again same, shower and party. On fourth day, I checked out but as my bus time was 20:00Hr I requested them if I can wait in common area and guess what they let me used common area. I talked with roomies in natural ambience and then I rested for good time with cooler. Throughout the stay all staffs were well behaved. -Hospitality doesn’t end here, I spent evening at Fontainahs. One hour before my bus arrival I got to know I have lost my wallet. I called places I visited. Sat in my bus, I thought even perfect solo trip has some bitterness, well suddenly I got idea to contact goStay if they have found a wallet. Receptionist called me back and swept away bitterness with her words assuring that they have found my wallet and they are sending me by courier.
