This review reflects the price point and quantity.
We were guided by one of the restaurant owners at the church after a trip to Bom de Jesus Cathedral. Attracted by the owner's offering and a starving stomach, we followed him to the restaurant.
The restaurant was busy and the assumption was soon realized that most there were tourists like us who had been guided by the owner and not locals who would visit by word of mouth (always a good sign).
Coming to the food, the taste is nothing to write about and the prices are expensive for the local restaurant that it is and the quantities. We ordered a modso fry and some thalis and the taste was ok, not bad but not great either. Local favourites like mackerel thali were priced at 250, surmai thali for 350 (very thinly sliced), modso fry for 450. The rates are not what you would expect for a local restaurant.
The hospitality is great tho and the lovely family made sure to attend to our requests on time despite being busy.
For the price point and ambience, I'd suggest you can try elsewhere for a lunch. If you have your own transport, there are a number of places that Google maps will suggest which...

We had Prawns Thali and it was just amazing. Portion size was also good for the price. The overall price is also pretty less. Now this being in Goa, as most places, here as well drinks are offered for...
