Atlanta Beach Resort — Hotel in Goa

I recently had an utterly disappointing experience at Atlanta Beach Resort booked through Agoda travel agency. My stay there was marred by numerous issues that made me question their commitment to guest comfort and safety.

Firstly, the hygiene standards at the hotel were shockingly subpar. The state of cleanliness in the room was abysmal, and the washroom lacked a lock, which is a basic necessity for any guest. This lack of privacy was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable.

Adding to the dismay, the room reeked of a musty rain smell that was impossible to ignore. It's disheartening to think that a hotel would subject its guests to such an unpleasant environment.

Moreover, the ordeal I faced after trying to cancel my reservation was equally frustrating. After speaking to Agoda's customer care and receiving assurance of a full refund due to the unsatisfactory conditions, I initiated the cancellation process. However, despite multiple calls and follow-ups, the refund was initially denied by Agoda. It was only after persistent efforts that the refund was credited, but shockingly, it was in the form of Agoda cash, not in my bank account.

This entire experience reflects a severe lack of professionalism, disregard for guest well-being, and misleading practices by both the hotel and the travel agency. I am deeply disappointed by the way this matter was handled and the overall service quality provided.

Atlanta Beach Resort The comments are based on my stay at Atlanta beach resort. I had booked 5 rooms in this resort hotel.

Resort staffs are rude and unfriendly, very untidily dressed. Dingily maintained property All 5 rooms were pathetically maintained, AC dripping, no cleanliness, Geyser always short circuits, no door mats, bad cupboards, no door locks, TV and Cable connection not working and many other issues. Swimming pool requires a major repair work, the drainage grills around the pool fully rusted and guest using this should be very careful. The property has hardware shops (selling Plywoods, glass, Sanitary wares etc) on the ground floor facing the road. These shops are part of the property. The staffs from these shops frequent into the property and even have lunch at the restaurants. There is high vehicular movement around the property hence very noisy even at nights. There are many other issues, request you to take some action so other people don’t face such an ordeal.

Think twice before you book this hotel/resort.Don't spoil your vacation.

The reunion of 1971 batch of Maharashtra high school,Jabalpur (M P.) was organized in Atlanta Beach Resort which easily approachable from railway station and airport during March11-14,2024.Three days programme was well organized by the management. Firstday was covered by the entertainment programme of music,dances and fun. Escursion to different tourist places was organized on second day by luxury coach. Visit to different beaches and visit to market s was planned in the morning session and several funny and entetaining were organized by the management. For all three days morning tea,lunch,breakfast,dinner was provided. Food was nutritious. The staff of the resort provides all sorts of technical support ,and always available to solve your problems. The stay wasfully comfortable and the management extends the facilities of feel at home. I strongly recommend to avail the stay at Atlanta beach Resort. I wish all the best to staff...
