House of Nomad — Restaurant in Goa

Extremely fresh clean modern and a touch of class with ice cold air-conditioning. The fine touch to detail embraces this place for that extra luxury for your vacation. You would not believe you are in Goa you would place this in a 5 star luxury resort. In fact the Taj is just that endulge your hard earn pennies and relax knowing that the food drinks and rest rooms are top notch. Yes you have to pay higher price however it's worth paying for tranquill and being treat like royalty. If you want the hustle and bustle and the noise of the streets and to have less quality then you should not come here. If you want quality with refreshing staff who are there to make your stay a happy one and offering advice who are not from the area. The food was out of this world and the drinks came in glasses that are desirable and not some beakers you would get in other establishments. As it is part of the Taj you can ask about visiting there other restaurant in the hotel complex and also the seven rivers brewing company is also part which makes the whole experience worth the trip. Across the road is a night club or a casino if you want to enjoy the area or a nice stroll down sinquien beach afterwards to watch the sunset and the lights from all the beach shacks.. will want to return here for that extra quality and to feel special and welcomed by the staff. Went by chance for dinner on a Sunday night ,the ambience is quite good ,food was really good and fresh .The menu is very limited so it’s good for a one time visit.All the serving staff are good and helpful.Also they offer some discount for Taj guests. We ordered 1.Fish and chips which had salmon fish and it was really fresh ,perfectly cooked wish it had at-least 2pieces of fish. 2.Chicken picante -Chicken was fresh and spicy 3.Veg goan vegetable curry and white rice-It’s not on the menu but they suggested this to try and it was really good and filling for 1 person.

In Mocktails we tried orange blossom ,nothing great but not bad too.

We tried their Seven river beer (2 flavour) 1.Kokum beer (which i really liked) 2.Orange beer(Dnt like it much )

One food which we did not like it at all was The fried ice-cream ,it’s fried vanilla ice-cream wrapped in a crispy bread coating.Bread coating was too thick and not tasty at all and so was the vanilla ice-cream,it...

I've had the pleasure of eating at the House of Nomad twice and I have to say the food, service, and entertainment are outstanding. Both times I had the opportunity to be entertained by an outstanding young singer by the name of Shrey Tandan. Shrey's music was amazing to hear and his variety of songs was very entertaining. From Elvis to Credence Clearwater Revival and everything in between. You can't help but sing along with the songs and tap your feet to the beat of the music as he strums his guitar and adds his own percussion with quick taps of his hands on the body of the guitar. Quick to play back about any song request thrown at him, the music was spot on and so enjoyable.
