Being in Panjim, I had not heard previously about this place, only ended up there recently along with some office friends and oh boy! I must say its a wonderful place to be in.
Location: The restaurant, is housed in Caculo Mall, a name most Goans know by now, in the heart of Panjim city, on the 5th Floor. One can see directions for Barbeque nation as both the places are on the same floor.
Parking: Available at the basement of the mall, if that is full, you will need to park your vehicle on the road outside the mall at your own risk as most of that part is a'No Parking' zone, however you will find many cars parked around.
Ambience: Nice and decent, you have king size sofas laid out wide spread with a center table for your group. The decor, dim lighting and the music will set the evening mood right for you.
Menu: This in reality is a bar, so go there to enjoy your drinks and you will have variety of it, you name it and they have it. Of course there are some appetizers like chicken wings, pakodas etc.
The most enticing part of this place is -"Your own bottle" concept. This allows you to buy a full bottle of your choice drink, consume it, how-much-ever you want and keep the rest locked with them in a vault and you take the key - isn't that a real different experience?
Service: Service is good, the staff is always happy to help and courteous.
Price: It really depends on what drinks you will have as the drink prices vary on brands. However, I would say its rated moderately, for instance a pint of Tuborg will cost you mere 50/-(which sells at Rs. 35/- on a wine store and for Rs.70-100+ in a luxurious restaurant). Snacks are also priced rightly.

Read moreWe entered the place at about 12am on a Saturday night, upon entry we were informed that the kitchen would be closing and hence asked to place our order as soon as possible. Once we had placed the food and drinks order and they had just served us our meals at 1am we were told that they would be shutting the restaurant at 1:30am and that too in very rude manner. It was very insulting and demeaning. We had ordered for 3 starters and a bottle of red label and it seemed to be physically impossible for us to finish the bottle and our meals in just 30 minutes. Mr Prathamesh Gadekar was the manager on duty who saw the whole scenario but didn't lift a finger to help change the situation. Even though I really liked their food I didn't like the way we were treated (like trash) we had not travelled all the way from Margao which in itself is almost a 1 hour drive to be disappointed. I personally wouldn't recommend this place to any of my guests since I too am in the hospitality industry because these people don't have a proper closing time. They literally told us that they close depending on the crowd. So my question is if at all there is only one guest sitting in their restaurant would they ask them to leave because there is no crowd??!! I checked the reviews before I visit this place and it was odd to find the restaurnt not replaying to the negative reviews which are all about service and bot food or anything else.
The ambience is fantastic, the decor, the choice of funiture, the light ung everything is on point. The food is delicious and the portions are better than many big brands. But the service definitely need improvemet. The waiter who served us was not thorough with food as well as drinks menu. Few beverages were not available but he was unaware of that too and whole staff was loitering around the bar counter which spoils the impression of such a beautiful place.
Respected owners, with a upscale standard of everything your customer deserves great service too which includes waiters who have excellent communication skills, thorough knowledge of food and beverage and a witty, welcoming and charming attitude.
