Matsya Sagar Family Restaurant and bar — Restaurant in Goa

This restaurant can be your last go, in the off lunch hours in Parvarim area. It does not gives much feel about goan restaurant. The fish that they get are sometime stale and might not taste good, a big concern if you're considering goan cuisine. Service is not good as they take long to server any special dish and there are no updates until you ask for, the person who was attending us said 2 minutes for squid garlic and came back with the dish after 20-25 minutes, if he'd give us an approximate timing we'd have ordered something in between than to wait and starve.

The service was extremely slow, and the staff seemed completely untrained. We were served the wrong items-multiple times-and when we pointed it out, there was no apology or urgency to correct it.

The quantity of food was shockingly small for the price, which was very high. To make matters worse, the place had a strong smell of alcohol, making it feel very uncomfortable. It did not feel like a safe or welcoming environment at all.

There was no manager present to handle any complaints, and the waiters appeared clueless and disinterested. Overall, the whole experience was unprofessional, and not...

(To Matsyasagar, our visit was on 18-Nov-2016) Food might have tasted good, but the hospitality is worst. The guy who is the manager named Pavan was such a creep. Our query was very simple & in very normal tone. He was very rude at hour simple queries about Pinacolada & price about a certain delicacy that irritated him. Pavan, very much without any sense of being polite towards customer he put the menu on our face. Food was good enough while the guy manager/pavan is surely an bug of a person.
